If we did this in the past we could do it in the future again. Please step away from hate and anger that will never bring happiness or success in life. Long ago in the past 10 Albanian men came to my grandfathers farm in Banat Serbia to help harvest that years corn. The story in my family is not of hate but of love and friendship. The story in my family is Albanians are our brothers. We must start treating each other with respect and help one another that success!

I can assure you that UNESCO will not be able to have serbia gain authority in Kosovo. I am sure that your immediate neighbors have distanced themselves for a reason from Serbia. I am sure that serbia will not go far in EU negotiations.

One other thing I want these serbians who love russia more than Russians themselves to know. We know your government is pro russian, the fact that they are trying to build a relationship with EU, tells me that Serbian government knows all too well it would be a major failure to turn towards Russia. If there was the slightest clue, that Russia could truly help serbia economically, we know serbia would have ended EU negotiations long ago.
The truth is Russia is weak, its economy is the size of Italy alone. It can barely feed her own people, this is why your government has been looking towards the western powers. Even if west declined to its lowest, it would still be far stronger than russia economically, and the Serbian government knows this all too well.
Kosovo will be the reason Serbia will end up going towards Russia because of no alternatives, unless Serbia behaves and has proven to the west that it has made some changes.

Look at vucic, he could not even declare a clear victory over UNESCO deal. He said we did not win or lose, he is playing a gray area for a reason, so he can get help for serbia from both west and east. All of this is about to come to an end, and serbia will beg for negotiations in near future.

You don't have the support of UNESCO, check the votes pro and contra and which countries supported Serbia and who Kosova!? That on itself speaks volumes. You are not a politician, but only an undertaker.

what makes he think Kosovo will go in negotiations for UNESCO...the dialog is over. No Serbia will get more pressure from the west and EU until it bends over.

Well let's just speak the truth , Serbian government spend so much time and money making up websites on how the churches were burned in Kosovo and invested so much to convince other countries that look how Kosovo Albanians burned the churches in 2004. I'm Albanian and I can only say this that Serbian politicians are much smarter and harder working than our Kosovo politicians . The truth is that in 2004 in Belgrade the mosque was burned down during that time , also during 98/99 war , there were over 700 mosques in Kosovo burned to ground by Serbian paramilitary forces and they have em all in film and not even one video was shown to the world . Another words not that Thaci fell to convince any country in the world that Kosovo should join UNESCO but they also fell to represent any video on what happen to the our Moques during the war. They clearly saw how Dacic was working so hard convincing countries all over the world and they did nothing in return . Kosovo politicians are a big failure. And by the way what in the hell would you negotiate , why help Serbs get closer to Europe before Serbia apologizes for the genocide that they commit .

This is the Serb problem, they were able to get support from a little more than 1/3 of the voting countries but less than that if you tally the total number, and yet he says that the majority supported Serbia.
And he has the cajones to set there and say it was due to Serbia and not Russia's influence.

If I was a Kosovo Albanian representative in pristina....

I would not give a dam about unesco and taking serbian churches for the sake of gaining entry into a international institution...

I would not be worried about gaining entry into the United Nations....

I would be worried about my own people and my own infrastructure and how to help them, how to create jobs and provide better health care, better education, better roads, railways and airports... It is the welfare of your own people which should matter above all else, not spending countless hours every day scheming of a new way to become recognised as a country...

The last thing I would be thinking of is creating a country... If it has not happened in the first year of independence it will most likely never happen, so I would give up on that and focus on creating a better future for my people... People are more important than recognition...!

If I was a Kosovo albanian representative, I would establish a good relationship with Serbia, open dialogue and focus on nation building, rather than nation creating...

What Kosovo talks??? The Brussels agreement was torn into pieces.

Can someone, explain me how does Kosovo not joining UNESCO contributes to the Serbian cause? There are several implication to be considered:
At first, Serbian campaign represent a serious breach of Brussels agreement, and as we know every action is followed by a reaction. Constitutional court of Kosovo and Kosovo government will be highly motivated (and justified also) to react proportionally.
Secondly, what will happened with the Serbian heritage sites? Will they be safer now or will they be better of with Kosovo member of UNESCO?
Lastly, is there going to be any implications on the Serbian-EU negotiations of membership?

Apparently the Serbian politicians are more concerned about their personal carriers rather than their people lives.

"This is a big warning for them. And as they do not dare bring before the UN General Assembly the issue of (Kosovo's) membership in the UN, they should refrain from trying to join some other UN organizations," the president said.

What a nonsense. Is Nikolic so stupid that he doesn't know that the procedure of becoming an UN member is different, and it's totally obvious that any attempt would be blocked by Russia (and maybe China, too) in the UNSC. So 'daring' to try to apply for a UN membership would be as stupid as trying to do a parachute jump without a parachute, i.e. simply suicide.

P.S: Guess why Taiwan is not an UN member state.
