Those peers must be shown a lesson and learn how to behave and be civilized. I hope there will be charges and the parents of those children will get punished and/or fined.

For what they did in Srebrenica, the stoning of Serbs should continue.

Yeah, I suppose over a decade of sanctions, tearing part of your sovereign away, being ethnically cleansed and being bombed into oblivion aren't enough.

You are either punk or a dolt, it sounds like both

I understand now that it was only a coincidence that the paragraph in dispute happened to be in the place impacted by the bug which made it appear that the story had changed.

I appreciate the fact that you posted my comments and also your detailed explanation and thanks for taking steps to fix the bug uncovered - at least something good came out of this exchange :)

Good luck in your mission as a news organization,

Cheers!

As stated, this article has not been changed in any way since the original posting, but the link you included in your comment (http://www.b92.net/eng/comments.php?nav_id=96000) revealed the source of the problem/misunderstanding. It is a bug on the website where the second paragraph is missing from every article revealed from the comments, i.e., by clicking the "show here the full text of the article" link.

If you visit the same article from a "regular" link, you will see the correct, complete version of it. Unfortunately, at this point in time this is true of every article, not only this one, and we will work to fix it asap.

Thank you for pointing out to the problem and we apologize to you and all our other readers.

@B92

I appreciate the correction of the news story and the reply here, but unfortunately (and I feel very bad to say that because I like your organization) you are being dishonest in this case.

First, you should know by now that I have evidence about everything I say and, of course, I took a picture of the original version of the story before pointing out the issue to you and will make that picture available in the Internet to prove what the original story was.

Second, I'm not doing that immediately because, while you corrected the story at the main link, you did not manage to clear the traces of the original story from all links and this link at your own website www.b92.net/eng/comments.php?nav_id=96000 still shows the original version of the story without the paragraph that I mentioned.

I would be very curious now to see whether you will have the integrity to allow the facts above posted and recognize that you did indeed make the correction.

As I have said before, errors are OK, we are all humans. But not recognizing them, that's where it becomes a problem.

@icj

Thank you for your feedback.

We would like to clarify that "the paragraph above" that you quoted in your comment has not been "added."

It was included in the original version of this story, posted on November 11, 2015, at 11:57 CET.

This story has had no updates since - as our CMS records, and the cached versions of this website available on the internet, show.

Your comments, consequently, have not been "censured" - the moderator chose not to allow them as, at best, insubstantial - considering you claimed a lack of clarity in our reporting that was never there.

This is the second time that you have made the same claim about our articles, only to go back and say that we "clarified them" with updates - when in fact no updates to the original versions occurred in either case.

At this point we proceed from our conviction that your criticism was not made in bad faith, and advise that you pay closer attention to the content of the stories posted on this website before commenting on them.

Njegos: Do you share Peggy's view that Serbs are surrounded by inferior people? I have openly condemned Avni for his mindless nonsense, would you like to take this opportunity to do the same where Peggy is concerned?

I'm sorry if you think my objectivity is a façade. If B92 reported on more stories from BiH (Federation rather than Dodik) I would have an opportunity to even things up. I was critical of Izetbegovic last week when he made stupid comments about Vucic and no doubt if his words appeared more frequently here I would continue to do so; he is a fool.

"Because Serbs are surrounded by inferior people". There, in seven words, we have the whole problem of the 1990s neatly encapsulated. Some Serbs genuinely believe(d), as Milosevic did, that they are a superior race of people and that the rest of Yugoslavia was there to do its bidding. Not unlike the English class system which some Tories would like to resuscitate. Thankfully they are no longer in the majority. I don't know whether Peggy is just having a bad day but I suspect that these words will come back to haunt him/her.
(ned taylor, 11 November 2015 14:49)
========================
Well look at the facts.
The only concentration camp for children was in Croatia. Not even Nazis had a concentration camp set up soley for children and run by nuns no less. Then we have Jasenovac which again was so brutal that even the Germans were appauled.
Then we have KLA and after the war even more burning and ethnic cleansing. Croatians picked up where they left of from WWII and resurrected the old Nazi symbols which still appear today. This is proof of them being unable to evolve.
Bosnian Muslims are still trying to establish superiority over Serbs there and many are trying to establish Sharia. How much have they evolved? Now tell me that I'm wrong. If you can't evolve like the rest of the world, then you are inferior to the ones who can. Truth is hard to accept especially to them.

Hey ned taylor, you are quick to condemn Peggy about a recent comment she made, yet you say nothing about Avni's comment in which he said stoning innocent Serbian children is good and referred to them as devils. Your selective criticism flies in the face of the objective façade you try to portray here. You're a joke.

It's all so clear that the future generations of Croats, Bosnian Muslims and K-Albanians are not going to evolve and will remain stuck in the past and bitterness. You see, it takes intelligence to evolve and sadly it is not found there.
(Peggy, 10 November 2015 23:28)
I don't think any person could have summed up the Serbian personality any better than this statement and it should be on all road signs leading into Serbia so people know what to expect inside that country.
It should also be read before every meeting that Serbia attends to remind people of who they are dealing with and finally it should be carved on every tomb stone so people will know the reason it was knocked over.

Since this article pertains to Croatian & Serb schoolkids and what I'm about to discuss should be considered relevant so here goes...

It's like this that from what I've read online that in United States black students including those who are just preschoolers are said to be punished more harshly than their white counterparts even for the same offense and furthermore another article claims that black boys are viewed or regarded as less innocent than their white counterparts so my question is in Croatia are there some Croatian school administrators or officials who have a double standard policy regarding the treatment of Croatian & Serb students who misbehave where a Serb student (no matter how young he or she is) is more subject to a sterner punishment or discipline than his/her Croat counterpart and finally are there some Croatian school even law officials who therefore view or regard all Serb youths to be less innocent than their Croatian counterparts? As expected I'm just being inquisitive.

The croatian children must be disciplined...

I know children can be cruel to each other, but this goes beyond being cruel... if Tito was alive today there would be some serious consequences... it really is unacceptable for children to act in this manner
=======================
I don't think anything would chance if Tito was alive today. You see, Tito was in power when some of their parents and their grandparents were growing up and clearly they are not better. Children learn from their parents and grandparents and look at what they have learned. Nothing changes Croatians. They have been growing up in the same rotten spirit for generations.

The west and the Muslim domination initiated the Balkans hate for Serbs in the first place.
It was Austria, especially under Empress Maria Theresa, who really started pushing Croats to hate Serbs.

The hate and resentment existed long before WWI.

I believe if Austria, Germany, and the Catholic church wouldn't have stoked it back in the earlier centuries, the Croat-Serb relationship would be similar to the Czech-Serb relationship - mostly decent.

Austria also did the same for the Bosnian Muslims - and had a special group sponsored to hunt and kill Serbs.
Austria also created Albania to prevent Serbia from gaining access to the sea.
Foreign countries did use the non-Serbs for their designs against Serbs, who were one of the strongest in the Balkans, and with high potential for their country, before the World Wars.

This is clearly unacceptable behaviour and children shouldn't get dragged into their parents and grandparents arguments. The headline is a bit dramatic given that stoning conjures up images of Yememi women buried to the waist and having a lorry load of rubble poured over their heads. Thankfully no-one was hurt, at least not physically.

Wonder what the real story is? Afterall it was just a couple of weeks ago we heard about Albanians stoning a church yard while the priest's children were playing. Turned out it was a single individual threw a single stone and hit a gate.

NATO bombed Serbia because it wanted to establish a military base in that region not because of the Albanians. If your friends, the US, were so concerned they would have cleaned up the depleted uranium they dropped in southern Kosovo. (Guest, 10 November 2015 13:44)

These are fairly easy questions to answer and I'm glad you baited yourself by asking them.

The main reason is that Albanians, Croats, and to a lesser extent Bosnian Muslims are largely incapable of letting go of the past and continue to indoctrinate their children with the nationalism and xenophobia that defined their national movements in the 1990s. One can find it in their history books, state-sponsored holidays, and in the general understanding that they need to cling to this belief that they were only victims in Yugoslavia's civil war. Granted there's plenty of evidence to show that, but they also go out of their way to cover up crimes committed in their name against others, mainly Serbs.

Now another question to ask is why we don't see Serb children doing the same to others? How is it we don't hear of Serbs attacking others simply out of their ethnicity? No stonings, no beatings, no racist graffiti, and none of them being collectively excused in the worn out trope of being victimized in the 1990s.

The reason why we this continuously happens in Bosnia, Croatia, and Kosovo is because these three groups have a far worse track record of racism and intolerance for others. The fact you needed to justify this from what happened the 1990s validates my answer.

Before the troubles started there was graffiti on the walls in Croatia about Serbs hanging from the trees.

It was Croatia and Slovenia that kicked off the nationalist driven split of Yugoslavia.

I remember a Serbian engineer who had worked and lived all his life in Zargreb crying because he had been driven out and treated so badly by his 'friends and colleagues'.

Croatian shame as grossly illustrated by Janinovac continues to this day.

How can Croatia purge its evil past?

It will take strong legal intervention and centuries of values of decency to clean the corruption.

I am surprised Croatia was allowed into the EU before it's past was properly cleansed. Germany had a bad past, but was bombed to total submission and corrected its past as a consequence. Croatia had got away with its evils without that level of intervention, and too much of the nationalist snobbery is retained in Croatian thinking. Same apples in Slovenia too in my experience.

No one sees Croatia as a unfriendly nation to outsiders other than Serbs. Croatians do not throw stones at anyone else, unless they are Serbs. Even this is new, it has been going on in Kosovo, and Bosnia but not in Croatia.
You might want to find out what it is that your neighbors don;t like about Serbs. Maybe it is because they have been slaughtered like animals by Serbians, maybe it is because Serbs have destroyed their livelihood, or mass killings and raping committed by Serbs, and have inflicted so much pain and suffering.

Serbia needs to make an example out of their criminals who still live freely in Serbia. Your biased and denial views are the reason why your neighbors will never accept you, and rightfully so. Show your neighbors that you Serbs were wrong, let them know you did not support Milosevic, and distance yourself from it.

Until Serbia comes clean from war crimes, you are bound to never live in peace among your neighbors. No wonder NATO bombed you, I see why they could not get anything through someones head like yours. Last time I checked, there are 6 Genocides that have occurred in the world, and Srebreniza is one of them, committed by Serbians. Now, one has to wonder why is this happening to Serbs all over balkans? Bosnia,Kosovo, and Croatia. How much pain and suffering has serbia inflicted on these countries during the 90s? The answer is obvious, it must have been so horrible these people will never forgive, ir forget how serbia treated them in the 90s. This cannot be a coincidence, every time Serbs go some where they get stoned.
I do nor condoned it, but I can understand why the did it, pain and suffering are horrible feelings to have, let alone have someone make you feel them because they though of you less than a human, which is how serbia treated these people for a long time.

These kids are innocent, and they did not deserve it.

@icj

@B92

B92

pre 8 godina

@icj

Regards,

icj1

I understand now that it was only a coincidence that the paragraph in dispute happened to be in the place impacted by the bug which made it appear that the story had changed.

Good luck in your mission as a news organization,

Then why do the Greeks hate Albanians? Why do the Macedonians hate Albanians? Now, one has to wonder why is this happening to Albanians all over Balkans?
NATO bombed Serbia because it wanted to establish a military base in that region not because of the Albanians. If your friends, the US, were so concerned they would have cleaned up the depleted uranium they dropped in southern Kosovo. It’s still there and Albanians are farming those lands and dying of cancer at an alarming rate.
Once again you people don’t understand the definition of genocide and your allies the US failed to pass it in the UN so much for your six LOL.

You are transparent and can't fool anyone. With flawed english you use generalizations plus your bias view that's clouded by extreme racism.

For what they did in Srebrenica, the stoning of Serbs should continue.
(Nigel Ross, 16 November 2015 00:04)

Yeah, I suppose over a decade of sanctions, tearing part of your sovereign away, being ethnically cleansed and being bombed into oblivion aren't enough.

You are either punk or a dolt, it sounds like both

This is clearly unacceptable behaviour and children shouldn't get dragged into their parents and grandparents arguments. The headline is a bit dramatic given that stoning conjures up images of Yememi women buried to the waist and having a lorry load of rubble poured over their heads. Thankfully no-one was hurt, at least not physically.

Now that's just stupid...I mean, REALLY stupid! Not sure what else to tell you other than...be careful of people, for there are many out there...just like you!

Njegos: There is nothing selective about my not commenting on Avni's post, I simply hadn't read it. He is, frankly, a buffoon for making these kind of remarks.

I was critical of Izetbegovic last week when he made stupid comments about Vucic and no doubt if his words appeared more frequently here I would continue to do so; he is a fool.

thx B92 for adding the paragraph above after my comments that you censured

@icj

@B92

@icj

Cheers!

Those peers must be shown a lesson and learn how to behave and be civilized. I hope there will be charges and the parents of those children will get punished and/or fined.
