WB: Result better than expected

Tony Verheijen, the World Bank Country Manager for Serbia, stated Thursday that reforms in Serbia has produced better results than expected.

Growth of 4% plus would require Serbia embracing a market economy. It is hard to see this happening when most citizens still have a socialist mindset and most politicians are populists with little understanding of economics.
