Actually I don’t dislike all Albanians.
But I hate to tell you that your government is leading its people up the garden path big time. Newton’s 3rd law of Physics applies to everything in life whether its banking or in our personal lives – for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.
You cannot sustain indefinitely borrowing on this scale without having an effect on the US economy. Now they are talking of raising interest rates and selling it to the public it’s as a result of a strong economy. No its not. Raising interest rates is a tool that is used to soak up excess much money in the economy. You recall all that money the US printed – quantitative easing? Well it’s all coming back to mother and if they do nothing your loaf of bread could cost you a wheelbarrow full of dollars, but here is the problem, raising interest in such a weak economy could stall it completely.
Bill Clinton left Bush a healthy economy, surplus budget and only 4 trillion debt. Bush and company destroyed the US and there is no coming back from that.
The reason why I can travel is simply I finished my contract with HSBC last December and after many years of hard work I decided it’s time to travel. My kids are grown up and have their own lives and if I so wish I don’t have to work as I have more than sufficient funds.

I would say that more than likely you were enclosed in a padded room for those 6 months. I would have to wonder WHY a person who HATES Albanians so much would actually travel there???
What you think of me matters not, because I know what I am, and I know who I am, and I know that you are just as wrong on those as you are on everything you put on here. 99.99% of which comes from reading proserbian, Russian and anti American rags.
Good luck to you in your "travels" but I will be here to call you on every lie---take that back no one has that much time on their hands.

(You’re just another Albanian who is in need of remedial English classes, but living in the US makes you even worse.
This year I was in Europe from March to October so I have travelled extensively unlike yourself who has never left the State you live in let alone the US. I saw many things during that time first hand and not on TV or the internet. I even went to Kosovo and Albania.
Of all the people I have met during my travels, the most ignorant were Americans. One supposedly university educated young man asked me about Australia and then asked whether he could drive his motor bike from Sydney to Wellington New Zealand.
Well what part of “…. the number of active duty service members continues to shrink” Don’t you understand? In the case of numbers of the words “active service” is the key here? You can have 20 million in the service, but how many of them are active. Were the American public told how the US went in the South China Sea recently? Probably not. Or was it the usual BS about how they showed those commies LOL.
Perhaps you should seek to become an adviser to Ashton Carter.

It’s Utopia in the US and sleeping under a bridge there is far superior to doing the same in Russia? What freedom and democracy keeps you warm?
“..Russia made a grand entrance into Kosovo.." In 1999, Russia was broke, but not today. Why don’t they stop the Russians in Syria? The US has the Brits, Aussies, French and Canadians on side – what are they waiting for? Father Christmas?
“they are numbers you cannot understand in your simple mind…..”
This statement shows that you have no idea about finance except that monthly trip to the bank to collect your social security. The US debt is real not a figment of imagination and it’s a debt that has to be serviced and they do that with “petrol” dollars. So far the US has only paid interest and nothing on the principle so each year the debt gets bigger. Whilst the dollar is the world currency the US can borrow and borrow, but the big bang will happen soon rather than later. There is no precedent in world history so no one can predict it accurately but you can try it and see how long you last.
If you don’t believe that, then perhaps you will believe the one about the US level of unemployment at 5% LOL.
I am fascinated how you know what Russia will sell to Serbia. Absolutely fascinate.

I love these responses. They look on the internet and think that everything that glitters is gold. It’s like the US economy, officially it recovered in 2009, but the American Enterprise Institute has said that it has been stagnant since 2008. Month after month it’s the same old BS, the job numbers are going up and it’s into recovery, but it never quite makes it.
When converting US dollars to Euros you are comparing apples with pears. $24,500 looks good except 4 people are living on a single MacDonald wages. Perhaps you should look at the cost of living in the US before you start quoting numbers. Another is what conditions have to be met to get this level of assistance – they don’t hand it out like confetti.
Pre 2008, there were 47 million working poor in the US and now you’re telling me that in 2015 the US only has 16 million below the poverty line? It’s like believing the official US unemployment rate is 5%. Please stop it or you will go blind.

Today, there are nearly 2 million foreigners living and working in China and the largest number is from the US. There are also plenty in South East Asia, but I don’t know about Russia.
Yes, Serbs did migrate to the US, but its 2015 and the US of 20, 50 or 80 years ago is not the US of today.

From 1989 to 1995, the US had between 2.1 and 2.5 million in its military and this number did not include civilians. At that time, the US was capable of conducting wars on two major fronts plus minor skirmishes. According to your DoD, in 2014, the US had 1.3 million in the military and these figures do included active reserves and some civilians.
True, the US has the largest military budget, but the bigger the budget the greater the squandering. Lots of money spent does not equal to lots of superior weapons otherwise the US would have starships travelling at light speed.
There will be no nuclear war, its unprofitable.
“…military lining up…” That is also not true as we see in Syria. In Serbia where there was plenty of infrastructure to hit, in Syria there is only desert. Why do you think the US is training Iraqis and others? Every western expert has stated that air power alone is insufficient so boots on the ground are needed.

Some facts that sj tends to omit:
The current US poverty rate is $24,500 a year for a family of 4.
That is 22,800 euros (or 1900 euros a month) How many families in Serbia make that? The US government says 14.5% of the country is below the poverty level which would be 50 million not 100. Forbes (who named Putin man of the year) says that number is not accurate because that does not take into account govt subsidies such as earned income credit, food and housing subsidies, healthcare, which they say brings the true number down to 4.5% which is less than 16 million.
The poverty level in the US is higher than the median household income of Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Portugal, to name a few and far greater than the median income of $8900 in Serbia and $11,700 in Russia.

All these numbers can easily be verified by a simple google search. Try to google sj's numbers and see what you get.
Want more numbers find out how many Serbs have immigrated to the US in the last 20 years and then compare that to the number who have immigrated to Russia or China.

pss

Let me remind you that in 1989 the US had 2 million in its military today its less than 600 000.
(sj, 5 November 2015 23:08)
Lies, lies, lies.
You have nothing but lies, do you even look up anything or sit at the computer and say "this is a good number, I will use it."
The US active military is approx 1.4 million with reserve units of about 1.1 million which gives a military personnel strength of about 2.5 million.
It has the largest military budget by far in the world.
But nonidiots also know that any war today is not going to be won by sheer numbers of military personnel. The days of military lining up on the field and shooting at each other and the one with the most still standing is the winner are long gone like 2-3 hundred years ago.
The US or NATO was able to drive Serbia out of Kosovo with no one on the ground.

Look at North Korea, almost 40% of their population is "military" where do you think they are going?

But get this through you shallow head, should there ever be a direct war with the three biggest military powers, THERE WILL BE NO WINNERS.
There is fear from all of the three of the others for good reason, because a "loose cannon" or "fool" such as yourself to get into a position they do not realize the consequences could unfold a series of events that would be unstoppable. The quest for more advanced weapons is not to win such a war as much as to be the one with the least damage.

I hope you are aware that Russia destroying the US, means also a destruction of Russia, too even if Kremlin's propaganda instructions might have forgotten the latter part!

In order to win something, it's the conventional forces that matter, not the nuclear ones, and in that regard Russia is just a regional power able to bully countries in the region like Georgia or Ukraine, at most, but Russia has no capacity to project a large conventional power globally for a sustained period of time which is why Russia is not a superpower. Probably due to the fact that poverty level is a relative term and each govt decides what their poverty level is. Poverty level in the US is equitable to middle or upper middle class in Russia, and definitely upper class in Serbia.
And I guess because as of history, Russia made a grand entrance into Kosovo to "protect" the Serbs only to slither out due to the inability to feed their troops. A concept you nor the Russians seem to understand is that yeah all the expensive fighting equipment one can have, does no good if you cannot feed the troops to use it.
As far as the mounting debt in the US, they are numbers you cannot understand in your simple mind, but you have to ask your self, how is the US able to borrow more if as you say they are going to collapse in 15 minutes. Maybe you should stick to worrying how Serbia is going to continue to pay the enormous travel expenses of it govt leaders. Or better yet WHERE the hell they could possibly come up with the money to buy missles etc from Russia. Eventhough what Russia is offering for sale is outdated equipment they hope to unload on a country like Serbia so they can refill their coffers to obtain and rebuild their own arsenal.

In direct combat, in the case of a conventional conflict, the Russians would literally fight US forces - claims retired US Colonel Douglas McGregor magazine "Politico".

US Colonel: Our army is poorly organized and not well dressed
- Regardless of the size of the military budget, the US Army is not as strong as many think and would have defeated the Russians in the case of direct conflict in a particular area - said McGregor.

He's moving US troops from Germany to Hungary, with the intent to injure the Russians, called scarf and a scenario that will not scare anyone in reality.

McGregor is an American war hero whose unit during the Gulf War destroyed the Iraqi armed brigade for 23 minutes while had only one loss in manpower.

Speaking about the win, McGregor said that they were dealing with poorly trained Iraqi soldiers, but to be in collision with the Russians were defeated.

- Actually, the term "loser" is not the right word, proper to say that we were "destroyed" - said McGregor, who now holds a military expert.

He warns that the US military is poorly organized and not well trained, so in the case of direct combat with the armies that are equal in number and technically well trained, like Russian or Chinese, was beaten.

McGregor claims that these estimates are based and the US Army are aware of these problems.

I don't know how much Russia will last fighting wars it cannot afford. Make no mistake, Russia is no Superpower, never has been. Her economy is the size of Italy, that itself should allow you to see what Russia is worth compared to NATO. Russia, combined with the rest of the world stands no chance against NATO.
Russia has taken an international role as a player, but a weak player she is will come to light very soon. Her economy had not been stabled for neart two years now, it is a matter of time before Russians start to question their leaders decision. Empty stomach of citizens of any country is a recipe for disaster. That is what's been going on in Russia. Poverty has increased tremendously, because their leader is trying to play games it simply cannot afford financially.
Although, putin is well of he's worth about 80 Billions, so much for equal share of distribution.

There is this mass delusion that Russia is at the end of its tether and it cannot sustain a long campaign in Syria.
Perhaps some can explain to me why is Russia at the “end” but the US with a 20 trillion dollar debt, and continuing to rise, with now over 100 million living in poverty off food stamps is “at the top of their game”?
Let me remind you that in 1989 the US had 2 million in its military today its less than 600 000. It has closed hundreds of bases in the US and overseas and will continue to do so simply because of budget cuts. Its so called 5 generation fighter aircraft has been reduced to 4 generation simply due to budget cuts – Canada pulled out of buying them.
The reality is that the US is not alone in Syria nor was it alone in Afghanistan or Iraq and in both cases lost both wars.
The Russians have not gone into Syria blind unlike the US when it went into Iraq, Libya and so goes the list. Moscow would have known that Syria could turn into a long campaign.

US general explains why only Russia can destroy USA

(who says, 5 November 2015 22:11)

Well, the ability to destroy the US is only to ensure that Russia does not loose in a conflict with the US; it does nothing to win anything.

Sorry...

I have never been to North Korea so I can’t comment. Why are you so concerned what I post. You Albanians are amazing. Surely you have another, Albanian site, to pat yourselves on the back and talk about the greatness of the US.

Yes the cost of living in the US is different from Serbia and Russia and so is the living standards.
Maybe if you ACTUALLY traveled some you would know the difference but reading the sources you apparently do leaves you with a huge void between the ears.
