Any planned sale of Telekom should take the interests of the employees and the Serbian people.

People's employment should be considered before the sale of Telekom. The people should have guaranteed employment if Telekom is to be privatised, we should not sell the company and then kick the employees out onto the street, the people have given their lives to make this company, they turned up to work everyday to provide a service to the Serbian people and for our government to sell Telekom without guarantees of employment would be an injustice to the people which have made Telekom what it is today.

The people are worried about their future if Telekom is sold, they don't really worry about a debt which can be paid off with an appropriate annual budget... I understand the government wants to pay off its debt, but it should not be at the expense of the workers, of the people.

IF the sale does proceed, the employees should be considered, their jobs should remain safe for a minimum of two years and money should be placed aside for the retraining of employees into other sectors of the Serbian economy. The money from the sale should not just go to the banks, the some of the money should be used to ensure future employment for those who may be made redundant due to the sale of Telekom.

The Serbian government must do an appropriate cost/benefit analyses of this sale to make sure the people benefit, Not banks
