Montenegrins are not Serbs. The whole of Montenegro was part of Illyria and then Albania Veneta. The Balshaj/Balsic and Crnojevic/Kryeziu kings of Montenegro pledged their allegiance to the King of all Albanians, Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeu. They gave their BESA to other Albanian lords in "Beselidhja e Lezhes" and fought for the cause of a proud independent Albania. Montenegrins are slavicized Albanians and Montenegro has not forgotten its roots!

They can perform their interpretive dances for Albanians provided the audience doesn't tear-gas the theater and throw rocks at the performers.

I am glad Serbia did that. It is ridiculous how Montenegrins are acting, as though they are not Serbs but many say they are yet SHOW it please. Show your faith to your old heritage and get rid of your pathetic government. I would be embarrassed to have such a prime minister. At least 3/4 of Montenegro are Serbs. I wouldn't even want to be named after a mountain either.

serbs going against serbs hahahaha Serbia is going to end up isolating itself, they are doing it already. They are showing they are not Europeans. They are not with the west but east, Russia. So why help this country? Let them suffer, put economic sanctions on this country so they can learn their lesson. They weak. No one cares about Serbia. They just uncivilized people, they have shown it over and over again.

The theater from Montenegro should play in Kosovo...

What would happen if the Montenegrin theatre went to Kosovo and showed their art....

Well firstly the actors would not be able to reach pristina as the Kosovo Albanian Muslims recognise the Montenegrin people as Serbs, so travelling through Kosovo would represent significant dangers and the artists would travel with NATO protection, as most Serbs currently do in Kosovo...

Secondly, the artists being mostly Serbian from Montenegro have a very high possibility of being assassinated or blown up by Albanian fanatical Islamists which currently reside in Kosovo and by judging the NATO occupiers from their past attempts of saving Serbian cultural sights and innocent Serb civilians from Albanian jihadist attacks, NATO would just stand there looking dumbfounded while the montenegin artists get killed and choke on their own blood...

Finally, if the montenegin artists did reach pristina and made it to the thearter, no Albanian would buy tickets to see artists, as the Albanian muslims do not speak Serbian and they are vehemently opposed to anyone remotely associated with Serbia...

So, since the montenegin government wants to have a relationship with the Kosovo Albanians, let them perform in Kosovo and Albania, let's see how much love they will show you!

Montenegro, how much were you paid to accept Kosovo Albanians as a brothers, go perform for them now and show them how you dance to the American music...!

So what's the problem? Did anyone protested a front of the theater because of this "eye for eye" (culture for culture) act? I bet - nobody! And you know what? I think we should, from now on, exclusively promote Serb ethnic culture from Montenegro. Should we mess a bit into internal affairs of Montenegro too? We could! Who cares about those who are walking over their own blood, not mentioning Serbian heritage and culture of Kosovo at all. Clearing up things we should finally start using our potentials in Montenegro to be understood correctly.

I can not blame everyone in Montenegro for the stupid things the Montenegran government does. The enemies of Serbia want to separate Serbia from Montenegro, to build new walls separating and weakening the people, and to further divide the Balkans so that it is easier to control the common people. This decision to exclude only benefits the people who want to divide and conquer our peoples, it does nothing to hurt the Nato Puppets in power in Montenegro.

Very dissapointed

Who are the uncivilized now? What will happened next? Cinemas will boycott Hollywood's movies? What about NBA, Premier League or tennis?

If I remember it correctly, this is exactly how Hitler started it back in the days. And if you want, this is exactly how Enver Hoxha started it back in the days.

I didn't thought this was possible in 2015 in the middle of Europe.

I'm speechless.

what they should do

pre 8 godina

Montenegro should file a complaint with UNESCO and ask for a vote of censure of Serbia for such an action. After all that is one of the other things that UNESCO is to help promote other than just historical sites.

Cry me a river,
I agree with you on this one. It remained me of the times when France cancelled all Heiden's play's and Germany abolished theatrical prize when it became obvious he is going to win. Just because he attended Milosevic's funeral.
And now we have this in Serbia, acting as Europeans...truly sad.

You are boycotting art now because of politics?
You can throw a child like temper tantrum but any time something doesn't go your way but it doesn't mean you'll receive a lollipop. This is truly sad!
