Croatian minister comments on Serbia's plans to buy weapons

No one cares about what Croatia thinks.

"Croatia did not even have proper rifles, and managed to defend itself."

Croatia had half the weapons of the Yugoslav National Army (JNA), but it didn't have soldiers. While most of the JNAs Generals, Admirals and senior officers were Croats and Slovenes, most of the professional soldiers were Serbs. When the civil war started, the Generals proved to be useless but the professional soldiers know how to fight. Professional Serbian soldiers against untrained Croats was the real reason for Croatia's poor performance in the civil war. It had nothing to do with weapons.

Nato will not defend Her !.

The Croatians do not need to be afraid....

The Serbs are not buying weapons to use against its neighbours. The weapons are strictly for self defence against an attack from anyone in the world, even Fiji....

Serbia was attacked by the worlds most powerful nations in 1999 and invaded and currently occupied by western powers in its province of Kosovo. To prevent further invasions such as the 1999 invasion, Serbia must be well prepared and armed to defend itself.

Now Serbia lasted 72 days against a massive assault by western powers, Iraq lasted 3 days... The Serbs punch above their weight and with appropriate military hardware the world powers would struggle to defeat Serbia. So in the best interests of preserving the Serbian peoples peaceful lives it is necessary to be well armed and prepared against western bullying...

Croatia became an ally of Hitler, of Nazi Germany and if Croatia once again decides to become an ally of a regime similar to the Nazi regime, then Serbia will be prepared to anhilate any such country which has evil intentions... Just remember, Serbia did not massacre people in WWII, it was Croatia along with the Nazi regime which built the Jasnovac concentration camp in which 700,000 Serbs were massacred. Serbia does not show any evil tendencies and has never done anything which could remotely resemble the Croatian genocide of WWII...

Saying that, Serbia is peaceful and will only defend itself if attacked.

The only thing that did the job was NATO. You had nothing to do with any victory at all. If it wasn't for NATO you would be all speaking Serbian now.
BTW, there was no Serbian invasion. It was Serbs living on their land there that took you on.

That's because all of BiH, not only RS is coming back to Mama Srbija. We can kind of see it as compensation. Lost Serb land in Croatia will be replaced with Croatian lands in BiH and maybe some in Croatia.

CROATIA will never directly attack Serbia for all to witness...

But who can guarantee surplus missiles " accidentally " aimed and launched towards Belgrade?
