Her organization gets regular grants from the Open Society, USAID, EU, individual European countries and for almost two decades, Serbian taxpayers. Millions while ordinary people in Serbia earn 350 Euros a month. What's worse is their earnings aren't even taxed because they declare themselves as "non-profit organizations".

Can someone please help her catch up on the last 8 years of news.

She is absolutely right. When Belgrade signed Brussels it committed to Kosovo's eu path and it has been decided that includes unesco. It has no right to oppose kosovo in unesco.

Yesterday Kosovo signed SSP with EU today Serbian PM is saying that's good for Serbia's economy. Very soon he'll say the same when Kosovo joins UNESCO.

Catalonia is not independent but is in a state of peace. Scotland is not independent but in a state of peace.

Whatever happens in year X in the future, it won't change the fact that Kosovo was independent from Serbia from 1999 to year X. As for what may happen in future, we will just have to wait and see. My eyes are on Montenegro for now. One step at a time.
