Djukanovic is digging a hole all of his own making. If he detains opposition politicians and ties them up with the courts, he can forget about getting Montenego in to the EU because he is embarassing Brussels who have bent over backwards to ignore his behavior since 1997 to get Montenero in.

I was in Podgorica last summer and discovered the 'Kosovo embassy' completely by accident (it's the other side of the park from the big hospital). There, parked half on the pavement as a expensive car with only the back windows blacked out. Very mafia. I wonder if they visit all those new shopping malls that have popped up sporting all the usual luxury western brands. Who on earth else can afford to shop there?

It is time for Djukanovic to give up his dictatorship and to answer corruption charges locally and smuggling charges in Italy. In case he hasn't noticed, the geopolitical situation has changed against him. Pushing his country closer to NATO against the wishes of citizens is just one reason instability has started. Election fraud, corruption and stabbing Serbia in the back are some others. Gotov Je!
