In the US, during rival high school events, it does not happen everyday but there will be examples of some students who will throw rocks or eggs at a bus of their rivalry and those students will be suspended from school and possibly appear before a juvenile judge but it does not become an "international" incident.

So what happens when opposition activists throw eggs at Kosovo PM Mustafa in the assembly building and the motorcade escorting him has been stoned?
(Jugoslavija, 8 October 2015 21:02)

the same thing happens as in the example that "Time to grow up" mentioned... I.e. Kosovo does not act as a crying baby and make it an "international incident". It looks like Serbia, for some reason, loves to be a drama queen, which is weird because according to the most patriotic of Serbs, Serbs are very macho!

They learned this from Croatia. I guess everyone can just refuse to accept notes and we can all do whatever we want? How civilized.

How civilized?????
Try to not involve the sport in politics - what it mean for you. SIR???
How CIVILIZED are you that don't understand that?
He did the right think. Is JUST sport not politic!
FSF - had the right to complain in UEFA - and not try to "enlarge" it like a diplomatic incident...

I guess in that case the country deals with its issues or they could run to the press and cry like a baby and equate it to war crimes like Serbia would do!
Actually that is not true, in Serbia should opposition members block the SNS or throw eggs at the PM, it is 100% guaranteed that they would be the subject of "corruption" probes. That is the way they deal with opposition.

So what happens when opposition activists throw eggs at Kosovo PM Mustafa in the assembly building and the motorcade escorting him has been stoned? Seems like normal protocol in the "civilized" Albanian parliament in Pristina.

Apparently, more civilized than Serbia. It is time that Serbia starts shopping in the big girls dept for panties and quit playing like the little potty training toddlers. Everything is NOT an international incident. The kid throwing the stones has been detained by the authorities, it was an isolated incident, it was not organized by the state, and it happens in every country of the world.

If Serbia was not sending a "protest note" everytime something is not to their liking it would not have become a joke to all the other countries and would be taken seriously.

B92, it would be journalism if you wrote this story. Simply cutting and pasting from from the MFA press release does not cut it.

There has been a lot of hype and scaremongering in the Serbian media about this match. This is why every single thing is and will be exaggerated. One thing though: you did not see Albanian players stroll around Belgrade last year. Guess what the Serbian team is doing today?

Er... protest about what? A 14 years old kid through a stone at the bus carrying Serb football players?

I think an ambassador has better ways to spent his time then calm down Serbia government insecurity. Serbia media idiosyncratic belief towards "evil Albanians" is maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument.
