@ something to think about

This was a political stunt from start to finish. As much as my initial reaction was to blame the K-Albanian court system, this time it was EULEX that was leading the charge. Pristina had little to do with this because it had little to gain from prosecuting the most moderate Kosovo Serb politician.

Of course it was all too convenient for him to disappear from the political scene right when negotiations were being made for ZSO, and of course it's all too convenient that calls for Ivanovic's release in Belgrade were curiously quiet.

And of course knowing that no witness brought before the court could prove Ivanovic was anywhere near, much less involved, in whatever we was accused to doing makes it no less a judicial farce even if enough signs point to someone, or a group of someones, conspiring to remove him from the scene for the past few months.

The decision on whether Oliver Ivanovic is guilty or not will be decided by the panel of judges that are hearing the case. His lawyer, N. Vlajic can speculate all he wants but, his drivel is falling on deaf ears. The MUP Colonel D. Delibasic on trail with Ivanovic holds the key to Ollie's guilt or innocence. If the MUP goon is found guilty then he is taking Ollie down with him. Recall, Colonel Delibasic was in charge at the time and place where the murders took place.

Nice to see this judicial farce coming to its long overdue end.

It is true the end is near, but I would not go on the word of his attorney as to what has and has not been proven. I have yet to hear a defense attorney to address reporters and say the prosecution has proven their case before the trial ended. As a matter of fact his speech is probably taught in defense 101.
Now you call this a "judicial farce" but I have yet to see one Serb to place blame on this case whether true or not where it should go.
First this is international judges and prosecutors but everytime a Serb opens his mouth it is against the Albanian courts system.
Second, this evidence arose at a time when Ivanovic was almost guaranteed to defeat the SNS in the reelection of the head of the most powerful municipality of the then future Association.
But none of you question this. He lost the election, was kept in jail during the entire negotiations of the Association and when the SNS declares victory he is released.
Now the question should be was the international jurists complicit in this or were they just running on what they were handed. That should be the question, but if you have doubts of the role of Vucic, Nikolic in this, you are beyond help.

The old saying "where there is smoke, there is fire" is not 100% true, but when you can feel the flames its time to open your eyes.
