Oh the irony. "the bridge between the East and the West" is being stepped on by travelers going from the East to the West. If only Nikolic and the other politicians hadn't advertised Serbia as a bridge, this may have not happened. Next time, advertise Serbia as a wall, or a moat, but not a bridge.

Ida, your arrogance is getting annoying, the serbs killed more civilians than all other parties put together, and you did it on land that is not yours, you have yet to recieve proper punishment, in fact you were rewarded for it.
(Pope F, 21 September 2015 23:32)

What land are you talking about? Dalmatia and Dubrovnik stolen by the Croats which was Venetian? Slavonija and Krajina which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Frontier?Bosnia and Herzegonia taken over by a made up nationality called Bosnian Muslims who formed a joint federation with the Croats? Why don't you go pray together in a Mosque and not sure why you would call yourself Pope, maybe Mufta is a better name.

The Serbs who didn't flee Operation Storm were beheaded by the Croat troops and paramilitary.
The UN kept documenting fresh cases of beheaded Serbs - mainly elderly men - for many, many weeks after Operation Storm.
In October they were still finding "several" new cases a week, but at that this was less than what had been going on before (from August through September).

Also, the Croat air force did strafe the fleeing refugees on particular roads.

In addition the Bosnian Muslim army entered Croatia and were attacking the refugees and also burning their villages and slaughtering their animals.

A UN officer from the U.S. said the Muslims were piling the dead sheep and other livestock into pyramids.

Speaking of which, they were also slaughtering the Serbs' livestock around Srebrenica during their raids showing it wasn't about food but about a scorched-earth policy to drive the Serbs out and prevent them from making a living.

@UNHCR
"Let's remember Croatia has plenty of room as they forcibly removed over 250,000 Serbs from "their territory" during that great "victory" so can easily accommodate these refugees."

This whining about the serbs that fled Croatia before the liberation operation even started is starting to get stale. But true to form, you want to repeat the lie until it becomes the accepted truth.
Croatia did not forcibly remove them, their flight was organized by the local serb rebels well before hand.
As for an alleged 250 000... no chance. But even if that is the actual number, it doesn't explain the 750 000 serbs expelled from the region before that.
If all of your lies were even true then it only means the serbs in Croatia got a taste of their own medicine.
Note to mention the fact that Croatia has been calling on these people to return for years. Most of them will not because they have Croatian blood on their hands and they know it. The rest won't return because in your twisted war-criminal minds you still think you can use them to exert political pressure on Croatia.

Now getting back to refugees, I think Serbia used the only option it had available and let them pass through. I do wonder however when Serbia will decide to close its southern border, because when winter arrives I have a feeling these migrants will stay wherever they are and wait for spring. So all those in Serbia, Croatia or Hungary will probably stay put.

"Serbia must close its borders with Macedonia and Bulgaria."

Well a Serbian politician said a couple days ago that if it closed its borders with Macedonia, then Macedonia would collapse.
That's why it's imperative for MACEDONIA to close its border with Greece.

"If Germany wants a million Moslems immigrants then it should setup a collection centre in Turkey and transport them by ship to German ports."

What about sending planes for them? But people say it was Germany's intention to cherry pick the best then farm them out to the other EU countries, but many of the other EU countries are refusing to take quotas.

"If migrants get stuck in Serbia because of an EU blockade, then Serbia should smuggle groups of migrants across EU borders until they are all out of Serbia."

And how do you expect Serbia to do that when the other countries have walls, soldiers and police? Serbs couldn't usually even smuggle their own selves out when they were blockaded during the Balkan wars.
"Serbia should also take this opportunity to build proper border fences around its territory (excluding occupied Kosovo)."

Yes it should, but do you think Serbia's doofus politicians and government would ever even seriously consider it.
They should have seen this all coming when Hungary started that fence which showed it was SERIOUS and not all talk.

Latest Eurostat statistics just came in: 4 out of every 5 'refugees' aren't from Syria at all. No wonder genuine Syrian refugees keep getting into fights with all the other groups of illegal immigrants...

This is not about colonization, it is about overpopulation. These people are coming from territories that have seen pathological growth in population, people having six or more children per woman. And it's deliberate, the lowest level of social engineering practiced both by competing Muslim groups, the Sunni and Shiite and the Catholic church.

All of these illegal immigrants are thugs. Don't be fooled by the college education or the English speakers. They know and paid directly to criminal interests to get there. The same people who smuggle drugs into Europe smuggle people too.

Ask anyone in the US, we see it every day out of South and Central America, China and others too.

It's going to get worse, because nobody wants to confront the problem. China has made some efforts, but reports on their success are not forthcoming.

Spot on, as usual, Michael.Europe is controlled by authoritarian EU. A bunch of unelected elites that promotes economic globalisation and the mass colonisation. Why they do it ? Middle class, students, and skilled workers with money to afford the migration? Don't know what that says about your opinion of Croats but works for me! Croatia might even benefit from these people since most of their towns are nearly deserted and could use the economic stimulus from their skills to revitalize life. Of course that would mean accommodating non-Croats and the thought of signs in Arabic along signs in Croatian would be too much for some to handle since they could barely tolerate Cyrillic.

It's beginning to look like payback time for Croatia's great "Oluja victory" of 1995 when it evicted it's own population and has never been asked to answer for that crime. Now let's see how well they get on with these alien nomads as they certainly couldn't live with their own kind, so this will be interesting. Let's remember Croatia has plenty of room as they forcibly removed over 250,000 Serbs from "their territory" during that great "victory" so can easily accommodate these refugees.Serbia is still burdened with the refugees Croatia created then so understandably can't cope with any more.

Serbia must close its borders with Macedonia and Bulgaria. This wave of immigrants threatens Serbia's welbeing and this small country cannot cope. If Germany wants a million Moslems immigrants then it should setup a collection centre in Turkey and transport them by ship to German ports. This chaotic migration is not good for the migrants or the countries en route to Germany.

If migrants get stuck in Serbia because of an EU blockade, then Serbia should smuggle groups of migrants across EU borders until they are all out of Serbia. There is no "Gentlemanly behaviour" here, every country is acting in its own interest. Serbia should do likewise.

Serbia should also take this opportunity to build proper border fences around its territory (excluding occupied Kosovo). The mantra of the Globalist Elite of a world without borders is in reality just a world without national governments or national defence. Borders are good, they protect nations and cultures. Serbia needs to reiforce its borders and none of the hypocrits in the EU could complain if Serbia built its own fences.

When you want to select a country to reside than you are no longer a refugee, but an illegal immigrant. Croatia and Serbia are both safe democratic first world and developed countries. If you want to continue to Northern Europe because of better welfare than you are an illegal economic migrant, not a refugee.
(pickthemup, 18 September 2015 10:59)

Kind of, yes. But there are enough immigrants who would be an unacceptable burden for Croatia or Serbia.

I am not a big fan of Hungarian police. However, I do not throw stones at them and do not yell at them "Allah Akbar" and "Pakistan Zindabad". These "immigrants" are now in Serbia or Croatia. How nice if they stay there, I am sure Serbs or Croats are extremely happy to deal with them.

Some made earlier to Budapest. Hungarian helpers had to make pictures in public toilets which supposed to teach the "Pakistan Zindabad" folks how to use the toilet.

I am not afraid of people from Damascus University or Syrian middle-class families. But there are enough thugs in Hungary, why do we need more thugs?

Thugs need to be sorted out, packed in a military transport plane and flown back to the place they claim to come from. Who is a thug and who is not, ask Ahmet Halimi or his colleagues from Presevo, he is the head of the Red Cross there.

Although Croatia closed all but one of its border crossings with Serbia, refugees continue to arrive in that country, entering via illegal routes.

They say that "a week is along time in politics".Only yesterday the Croatian government were proudly proclaiming that they're ready to admit thousands of refugees but it seems their PM was unable to watch the news, and he wasn't even close to ready for the actual numbers. Now that they'been inundated with the sheer numbers they've decided to close the crossings.

I don't think Croatia will be putting up any fences because they care to much of what the EU thinks, and its too late for that. Croatia owes, not only their membership of the EU, but their very nationhood, to Berlin. They are Merkel's obedient slaves.

The mantra of the Globalist Elite of a world without borders is in reality just a world without national governments or national defence. Borders are good, they protect nations and cultures.
(Michael Thomas, 18 September 2015 13:50)

Spot on, as usual, Michael.Europe is controlled by authoritarian EU. A bunch of unelected elites that promotes economic globalisation and the mass colonisation. Why they do it ? They want to destroy the native ethnic groups so to better control each countries. The people of Europe were never asked about. European people are against mass immigration/colonisation.If the present situation continues unabated for years to come the sectarian hatreds of yesteryear will seem quaint as we try to hold the line against Islam and the rest of the Third World who are colonizing or countries street by street and town by town.

Latest Eurostat statistics just came in: 4 out of every 5 'refugees' aren't from Syria at all. No wonder genuine Syrian refugees keep getting into fights with all the other groups of illegal immigrants...
