In other words, she is saying she wants ALL Europe to take in the migrants and because her country and Sweden is already ruined, so let's have the other Countries that still hold on to their cultural ancient traditions ruined too!

Why can't Saudi Arabia or Jordan, etc work with America, Germany etc to place these people. Iraq is not at war so make a place for these people there! or give a part of Turkey to them!

Greece have taken its share of emigrants and since 1990 they contribution is 10% of Greece's GDP. If Greece didn't have accepted its share of emigrants, the crisis would have been terrible for Greece and ordinary Greeks.

Surprised to see this anti emigrant stance by a know leftist like you Leonidas.
Or when it comes to the West who cares about the principals.

The black economy where illegal immigrants are mostly employed doesn't contribute anything to the official GDP figures. However, illegal immigration has contributed to huge increases in crime, a 40% increase to prison population and the ghettoisation of large swaths of the Greek capital.Had Greece not become a member of EUSSR and not accepting any immigrants it would've been in a much better position than the present one .Let's not forget that back in 1981-the year Greece entered the EU-public debt stood only at 49% of GDP not 200% than it's at present.

The fact that I've been opposing the wars in the Middle East and mass immigration/colonization that your kind have supported wholeheartedly doesn't mean that I am a leftist.Even Merkel herself-a former communist-has said few times in the past that multiculturalism is dead and buried. What's happening in Europe right now with the mass islamisation and it will continue fervently in the coming years is the European ethnic genocide.Small countries like Sweden will become ethnically extinct in the near future.

Muzaka,

You are only partially correct.

Taxes is but one part of the equation.

The problem is that no one believes that these people will assimilate very well into the greater culture that hosts them. That is why all the capitals of Europe want a ceiling imposed.

The other part of the equation is that many seek social welfare services and no country wants to raise taxes on its population to provide those services.

The energy these people provide is great, but the west is doing well enough without it.

...This is the usual pattern in countries with large intakes of refugees and migrants. It all becomes horrible and messy and uncomfortable. But too late your stupid proclamation has come home to bite you, probably sooner than you might have expected
(Leonidas, 15 September 2015 17:39)...

All historical facts tell that countries who have accepted refugees have had prosperity.
Start from USA, Australia,France,Great Brittan even Greece.

Of course the prosperity comes with the price, because 850,000 Syrians in 2 years will start paying taxes, and they will be few numbers of them that they will end up in jail or become terrorists.

So...your calls for 800,000+ migrants to come to Germany earlier this year was just a...'slip-of-the-tongue'? This woman is beyond delusional.

She is very naive to think that her actions were not an invitation to come to Europe. Germany is responsible for worsening this crisis and is now itself in trouble. As in the past, she will dictate to the other EU nations what is to be done. The German government is working on sanctions to other countries who are not prepared to take "their share" of migrants. And the German propaganda machine is rolling on, indoctrinating the Germans about how "humane" they have been compared, for example, to the Hungarians, Poles or British. At the same time, government officials are contemplating how to best utilise the fresh migrant workforce for the benefit of the country and is particularly looking for "skilled workers". As always, it's all down to money and Germany is like the spider in the middle of the web... No, thank God this is not my country.

"If we start having to apologize for showing a friendly face in emergencies, then that isn't my country," said Merkel.

True you don't have to apologize now because the migrants are still carrying your pictures- in a state managed media propaganda coup- indicating their gratefulness to you for your decision to admit 850000 migrants/refugees into Germany. But when the refugees stop being grateful then they start demanding their 'rights'(that includes the admittance into Germany their large families left behind). This is the usual pattern in countries with large intakes of refugees and migrants. It all becomes horrible and messy and uncomfortable. But too late your stupid proclamation has come home to bite you, probably sooner than you might have expected
