Your argument is specious, Serbia is not a universally recognized state, however, Rump Serbia is recognized by the same 110 countries that recognized Kosova. Serbia is only recognized by a minority of 83 out of 193 countries belonging to the UN. It's all good. As we have found out, these ethnic Albanians have consulted with FYROM, Albania and "Kosova"***. However, not with their government in Serbia or the EU, while the EU will consider this an internal matter.

I have to admit that Albanians in the south have legal grounds to stand on, considering Serbs in Kosovo got what they wanted. "Play with fire"? According to the Albanian version of reality (which as we know is never wrong, nor ever immoral), ZSO has zero authority beyond organizing dance festivals and cookouts. They apparently recognize the supreme authority of Kosovo and operate under Kosovo law. Now we hear that Albanian officials in the Presevo valley, through some type of pre-election marketing gimmick, are trying to set up what took Belgrade years to negotiate with authorities from Pristina under EU auspices and within preexisting peace arrangements - all, we must remember, to work under Kosovo law. So why then would Albanian leaders in Presevo who seem to think they're some sort of oppressed ethnic minority living in fear of their lives and cultural heritage, want to unilaterally mimic an institutional arrangement that has no powers, and which would integrate them deeper into the Serbian political system?

And why do all of B92 predictable keyboard warriors of Cyber Illyria suddenly think this is a great idea when they previously believed ZSO was meaningless and treasonous?

They have multiple political parties, they can fly their flag like any crazy nationalist, they use their own schoolbooks published in Albania, and they can even create terrorist organizations to challenge a government they believe is suppressing their rights as Albanians.

Can Serbs in Kosovo do anything like that without KFOR protecting them? When was the last time an Albanian in Presevo was randomly stabbed or beaten on the street for being Albanian? When was the last time an Albanian house in Presevo was robbed or burned to the ground?

He was born in Kosova and lived there for the first six months of his life. His parents however were from Jastrebac and were sent to Kosova to change the demographics of Kosova. His parents were imports to Kosova from Serbia. He has no real links or connections to Kosova. Most Serbs in Kosova are imports/ descendants of imports by the Serbia/ Yugoslav government after the Balkan Wars. So much for Kosova being an "ancestral homeland".

I say there should now be a Community ZSO within this new community ZSO. The Serbs of Medvedja should now come together and propose their own community ZSO.

And the Serbs of Bujanovac the same.

And then lets have the Albanians make their Community ZSO in N. Mitrovica.

The Greeks should then make one in South Albania.

And lets not forget the Serbs and Albanians should organize and make one in Montenegro.

I heard the Hungarians want one now in Vojvodina.

And the Gorani were asking for one in Kosovo.

The big question is will the Roma get it together and organize for one too?

What you say is true, but then again in what way does it matter. Does it not sound logical that communities that share the same issues and problems would form together and try to solve them. I have heard no rhetoric of autonomy or separation from Serbia except from those who really have no business in the matter from thousands of miles away.
No special guarantees have been given by the Serbian govt, but that does not say that in the future it couldn't, because if it is a closed door, then that gives the movement credence of need.
It is apparent in the Balkans that a Serb will always be a Serb and an Albanian an Albanian, a Croat a Croat, a Roma a Roma, etc. So why not have these groups interact with the others and especially the majority to deal with issues.
I am a stong supporter of the ZSO, but I think we differ on what that means too. But basically it is a way to guarantee Serbian rights in a country overwhelmingly Albanian. If you do not see this as an option also for the Albanian majority, then I guess I am wrong and you actually are a proponent for ethnic cleansing as anyone who does not support Serbian superiority, get out!

I have to admit that Albanians in the south have legal grounds to stand on, considering Serbs in Kosovo got what they wanted. He was born in Kosova and lived there for the first six months of his life. His parents however were from Jastrebac and were sent to Kosova to change the demographics of Kosova. His parents were imports to Kosova from Serbia. He has no real links or connections to Kosova. Most Serbs in Kosova are imports/ descendants of imports by the Serbia/ Yugoslav government after the Balkan Wars. So much for Kosova being an "ancestral homeland".

They apparently recognize the supreme authority of Kosovo and operate under Kosovo law. Now we hear that Albanian officials in the Presevo valley, through some type of pre-election marketing gimmick, are trying to set up what took Belgrade years to negotiate with authorities from Pristina under EU auspices and within preexisting peace arrangements - all, we must remember, to work under Kosovo law. So why then would Albanian leaders in Presevo who seem to think they're some sort of oppressed ethnic minority living in fear of their lives and cultural heritage, want to unilaterally mimic an institutional arrangement that has no powers, and which would integrate them deeper into the Serbian political system?

And why do all of B92 predictable keyboard warriors of Cyber Illyria suddenly think this is a great idea when they previously believed ZSO was meaningless and treasonous?

Could it actually be that ZSO is not what Albanians have been saying it is all along? Because if it is, it's nice to know what powers Kosovo Serbs will get. 1. ZSO was signed by the authorized and legal signators of both sides under international arbitration. It is a binding and done deal.

2. This is done by one side and with no authorized or legal signators (that no one even recognizes) and means nothing. It is unrecognized and will remain unrecognized by the entire UN security Council and the EU now and forever.

3. The entire world tires of silly little territories that cannot administer their borders -- nor defend them -- nor provide for them economically -- nor have any serious prospects for future economic growth. It's tired. Its Everyone is broke. Everyone is tired of is silly little noise.

What you say is true, but then again in what way does it matter. Does it not sound logical that communities that share the same issues and problems would form together and try to solve them. I have heard no rhetoric of autonomy or separation from Serbia except from those who really have no business in the matter from thousands of miles away.
No special guarantees have been given by the Serbian govt, but that does not say that in the future it couldn't, because if it is a closed door, then that gives the movement credence of need.
It is apparent in the Balkans that a Serb will always be a Serb and an Albanian an Albanian, a Croat a Croat, a Roma a Roma, etc. So why not have these groups interact with the others and especially the majority to deal with issues.
I am a stong supporter of the ZSO, but I think we differ on what that means too. But basically it is a way to guarantee Serbian rights in a country overwhelmingly Albanian. If you do not see this as an option also for the Albanian majority, then I guess I am wrong and you actually are a proponent for ethnic cleansing as anyone who does not support Serbian superiority, get out!

You're not "fire" Mr. Dacic, and neither is Serbia. You are just a little cigarette butt that can be easily extinguished under the step of a shoe. Your threats don't scare Albanians, they only make our cause stronger.

Your post is full of irony. First you spend a lot of time talking about how poor the country is and how the people are barely surviving on money sent from families in other countries. Then you speak of the country not carrying out expensive investigations into the war and deaths of 13000?
I am not sure you are speaking of a total people killed in the war or are trying to introduce new numbers of Serbs that were killed.
You also talk of EULEX spending all this money, which is to train the police in the justice of the newly born country, but they should be functioning on a higher level than the UNMIK and EULEX missions who are trained and experienced police and judges and prosecutors??
Also to date all war crime investigations, prosecutions and judgments have been in the hands of internationals and not the local police and judiciary. Also with the new tribunal to be formed, the locals will only participate as forming the laws allowing the courts they will not be participating in the investigations, prosecutions, and judgements.
Finally you say the heads of the KLA are in charge of the government. Can you name one country in history where the heads of a revolution or fight for freedom are or were not the initial leaders of the new formed government? Your insinuation is that all KLA are criminals but again can you tell me of a rebel or opposition group fighting for independence that was or is not considered criminals by the ruling government?

ZSO or csm has no executive judicial or legislative authority. Serbian opposition to Albanian ZSO in serbia is all about that 37% of Serbia that doesn't recognize Kosovo independence and wants pretend serb power seen in Kosovo. They want a club for Albanians in government? Fine!! It's not like Serbs ZSO in Kosovo can pass a law allowing Serb troops in Kosovo.
