If you did you would also go after Eastern Slavonia but you didn't because the americans refused to help you anymore after what you did to innocent serbs during your ethnic clensing campaigne. Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia, Bulgaria etc. are just not EU types of countries. This is East part of Europe and they can never be Germanized or Anglicized or whatever the word may be. No. They can't just go to Turkey. Fact is that Turkey already has 2 millions Syrian refugees, and that it spent 6 billions US dollars carrying for them, while receiving only 0.4 Billions in international aid to deal with the crisis.

Hungary thinks it has a right to refuse asylum seekers coming from Serbia, as it would be “a safe third country”. The rules that provide for such a refusal is called the Dublin Regulation. It says that once a asylum seeker arrives in a country, they'll have to apply for asylum there and not continue “shopping” for asylum elsewhere.
But, this Dublin Regulation applies between EU member states. Serbia is not a EU member state and therefore Hungary has no right to apply this rule. Simply taking EU regulations and pretending that they apply to non-EU members is just not legal.
Hungary could argue that most refugees came through Greece, so they could send them back there. But this is never going to work, if not only for the burden of proof. Hungary needs a wake-up call about their incorrect interpretation of the rules. Document all asylum seekers refused entry from Serbia. Then go with it to the ECHR and have Hungary slammed.
After a decade of witnessing the rudeness of Hungarian police, I'm convinced that Hungary should be kicked out of the EU. They only apply the EU laws that suite them, while making up others that are diametrically opposed. The way they treat Serbians is outright appalling and I have not seen it change much during the last decade. Like they refuse to accept they are no longer an Empire.
