Independence is a good thing but if you ask why they chose this very day to mark it the asnswer will be Stefan Bendera. Because it is his birthday ... Hauptman Bendera was honored with the Iron Cross by Hitler himself. He only once visited Ukraine for two days while in the UPA gangs he had a name BABA(WOMAN)and his wieght merely exceeded 45 kilo.
