Hello readers, unlike a few EU-negative comments here, I must remind, that since the beginning of national history people were existentially interacting and making economy global. But as of today people in slow developing countries are not seeing or getting it - a benefit of integrations, and that is mainly caused by irresponsible government(s) and their politics, for example, we are having a more responsible accounting and financials from widely accepted government, but they also overlooking some existing regulations and making that way everyday life harder in Serbia than before. One example is avoiding regulations of agricultural import taxes that is planned by the Stabilisation and Association Agreement to drop to 1 percent, and eventually make food price on local market more concurrent, better and cheaper, by opposite, this Serbian government rises import taxes to 4% and set additional importing rules for most goods claiming certificates and license to be reworked after domestic regulation disregarding CE and other EU certification regulatories, making a businesses wait for several months. Another example is e-commerce, Serbia is in worst position for doing business online since start of the transition during huge money laundry and have been restricted on major services as purchaser only but not sellers. So, to conclude, integrations and EU organization is great but some domestic politics and reforms are not real plans but rather projected recalculation on people behalf.

@Big Deal

Sorry, but that is just practicing... Many citizens of EU-countries have the feeling that what you described is exactly what their country is doing all the time. Except Germany as they are on the receiving end, and occasionally France. It doesn't sound very nice but that is exactly how many feel... So if you want to join the club, keep on practicing.

Big deal!
