Matic: It's important that journalists face bullies bravely

Strongly held points of view lead to frustrations when challenged. In the cases mentioned here, it seems that those issuing threats are lacking the ability to express their points of view a reasoned fashion, but are instead resorting to a form of rant.

I often wondered if the threats to journalists originated from any cohesive mafia style criminal group, but as described here, these threats seem to indicate a lack of self control on the part of frustrated individuals.

I don't think that the type if individuals involved will receive much sympathy or support from the community at large, so to a large extent they will live festering in their own mental mind muddles..

i do feel sorry for he journalists, who (I am sure) would be glad to have intelligent debate, but instead have to live with these stupid, uncontrolled, illegal, unintelligent rants.
