Kosovo dialogue resumes in Brussels

The csm is an NGO how can employees of it be civil servants? The Brussels agreement is clear that the csm is not a government its a club for government officials where they talk to each other. The Brussels agreement is clear that there is no "supervision" just "oversight." they have already agreed the csm will have a president but its not a government role with authority. Kosovo would need more amendments to its constitution to allow creation of super municipalities.

The faster Serbia realize reality that Kosovo is independent country the faster they will change their course to prosperity. Serbia can become a major player in the region. Serbian people should look for reconciliation in the region with it neighbors in order to rebuild their economy and respect, and not hate from its neighbors. Albanians are the fast growing people in the Region .They should make peace with them and start doing business. Kosovo is was and will be Albanian since Ilirian Empire. Slavic people came to Balkans in 7-th centuries. Serbian people should worry about the land where Serbian people live like Bosnia ,Croatia . Serbian mothers should start making babies because they are dying as populations. if Kosovo was part of Serbia again in 20-40 years Serbian will speak Albanian , Beograd will became the capital of Kosovo , Albanians are having lot of babies Serbian not It is better that Kosovo is independent, these way it saves Serbia from fast growing Albanian population.

Serbian media, like their political leaders still use Kosovo Albanian instead of using Kosovars. Remeber that Serbia is not negotiating with Tirana but with Kosovar leaders who represent Kosovar nation. We are not a minority as ex-Yugoslavia and Serbia treated us. We are a free nation and hell Serbia and Albania. Kosova is a country and Serbia and Albania stay away from my country.

If you read the Serbian press and listen to the Serbian politicians this is a slam dunk for Serbia, but I think reality is quite different.

I'm fairly confident Thaci and other PDK kleptocrats would be more than happy to sign up for that in exchange for immunity from prosecution and confiscation of their assets they know is dangling over their heads the minute their usefulness to the US ends. They've been more helpful to the Serbian cause in Kosovo than many officials in Belgrade who only a few years ago were ready to sign away everything south of the Ibar in exchange for controlling the north. Meeting the demands of others is far more important in keeping one's job in Kosovo than meeting the demands of one's own electorate.

Everything's been basically arranged by the international community. It's just a matter of each side selling their strategy to their respective audiences. Pristina loses nothing by doing what you said above, and it wouldn't be the first time Kosovo's externally written constitution would be amended to accommodate an international demand. Won't be the last time either...
