The Sputnik article noted that "in 1999, U.S.-led NATO military operations against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was launched without a UN Security Council resolution" and that "the bombings of the country’s capital, Belgrade, resulted in the thousands of casualties among civilians and disintegration and collapse of the Balkan state."

So, out of the 201 civilian victims of the NATO air strike in whole Serbia, 1000s of casualties were recorded in Belgrade? Must be Russian kind of, ehm, statistics.

Probably Lavrov is mixing up the casualties in Ukraine, where in fact some thousands of people were killed due to terrorists and separatist supported by Russia. I think the Russian soldiers spending their 'holidays' in Ukraine in tanks and military vehicles provided by Russia do it 'without a UN Security Council resolution'.

You mean 201 cilivians killed on the train on the bridge in the town of Vavarin in Serbia. All out alest 5000 cilivans or more where killed by the the bombing. Alot of people where killed when they started to bombing nurse homes,jails,schools,flats/buildings ,water stations ,electricity stations.etc
People had to travel and work .That's where alot of people got killed.

To understand our destiny we must know our past! Who in truth won World War Two! Was it the USA as we all in the western world are forced and fooled to believe? In how many western media movies and books is it mentioned that the Eastern Orthodox Christian Slavic people in Europe died fighting and resisting the Beast Hitler? How many Russian brave civilians and sacred Russian solders died during World War Two? With out the death and sacrifice of over twenty million Russian people, does any one out there think the Beast Hitler would of fallen? So does any Serbian out there any where think they or their extended family members would be alive today if Hitler won World War Two? Do you think USA, England and Germany will win? Does any body out there think that World War Three will be won by any nation that promotes illegal drug use by the majority of it's citizens, homo sexuality and the destruction of all family values? Why all of a sudden of all past ancient ages now during the last century or so Satan so obsessed with the total destruction of Eastern Orthodox Christianity? As everybody in the West knows by now, Russia is flooding western papers with comments producd by paid internet trolls. One of the main target countries is Serbia, the US and Germany. Putin and his little helpers are trying to influence peoples opinion in the West, and the entire project is part of the Russian desinformation war, financed directly by the Russian government.

Any major paper in the west has reported about it, but Serbia has been very quite about it, even it is one of the main targets of this propaganda war. The russian intrest is to to influence western societies with pro russian propaganda and lies, and to cause disruption in western societies. Looking at the people who regularly leave comments on B92, I am 100% sure that Dragoljub Djurkovic is one of these paid mercanarries. Even his comments are dumb and for somebody who sees through them even funny because of their absurdity, they always have the same theme: Great "mother Russia" and Serbia belong together, the west is evil, and only Russia is good. No person in his or her right mind can be so blind to believe this russian troll propaganda.

When you open it, on the right side of the page are "Casualties and Losses".

"Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Human Rights Watch was able to verify 500 civilian deaths throughout FR Yugoslavia (outside of Kosovo),[38][39] with other sources stating from 1,200 to 5,700.[38]"

Human Rights Watch is not Serbian propaganda, surely you agree?
I remember this report, and I remember they said at the end of it that list is compiled from bombing sites they were able to access, with the note that many locations were out of reach for them.
So, many sources 1200 to 5700.
Human Rights Watch verified 500 civilians in places there were able to access.
Where do you get 201?
