I'm not surprised because majority of them were "sick" even before going to jail. Only a sick person can kill unarmed civilians.

How about children swimming in a river after the war?
Yes, I agree that anyone who kills unarmed civilians, especially children is evil so when are we going to hear you condemn the killers of unarmed innocent Serbs, or is that too close to home?

He died a slow and agonising death. Just like the 300 civilians & defenders who were dragged from their hospital beds in VUKOVAR and lead out to a field where they were executed one by one... May god shut the door on this killer !

No.

Croatian paramilitaries, i.e. Ustashi loving HOS/ZNG as recognized by the icty:

BBC:

Many still vividly remember British television

pictures of the local hospital where 300 Croatians - many of them members of the National Guard - were taken prisoner.

A pig farm was too good for them.

@Ned Taylor :

After War War 2 how much "Reconciiation " took place between Jews and Germans?

That's how much take place there in the Balkans.

At least Germany confessed ,apologized and paid billions out for war reparations.

Serbs want both aggressors Serbs and non serb victims to hold hands and observe reconciliation together...as if nothing really happened.....you know...no mass graves....no mass rapes...no looting...no shelling... No torture.... No etc.......

Ned go see a doctor and not Dr. Karadzic the insane Terrorist.

Your posting brings only one verse to mind: Mathew 7:15

15"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?…

There was nothing holy about the Serb actions during the Yugoslavia war and any attempt to connect the two is pure blasphemy! It is an insult to not only ALL Christians in the world but to God himself.

Another Serb hero meets his destiny. Too bad it took so long. Should have had a trip to the gallows years ago for justice to be served.

Paul says fight the good fight.i.e. of faith. Any carnal fight is not godly, but no law against self-defence. Sorry Nenad, I clearly forgot which site I was on for a moment. 'E' would fall into the non-conciliatory conspiracy theory category of view. Thank you, I'll start a third sub set.

Ned, you forgot possibility (e), which would be to accuse the ICTY and/or the EU prison in which he was serving out his sentence of either conspiracy to murder, or of gross negligence, on the basis of ethnic discrimination.

It is at times like these that we see whether there is really an appetite for reconciliation in the region. People can a) ignore this man's passing as irrelevant to them b) express condolences to the family but not be too bothered that he died c) defend him as a great war hero or d) dance up and down on his grave. Either of the first two would give hope that there is a future for regional cooperation, c and d less so.
