LOL, these idiots are celebrating ethnic cleansing and massacres and get butt hurt over a flag being burned? There were Serbian flags being burned left and right the past 2 days in Croatia without a word on that. Who cares if Seselj burned a flag with a WHOLE 300 people who gathered with him. A WHOLE 300! Millions of Croatians were chanting Kill Serbs and bathe in their blood the past couple of days, that Ustasha Thomson had his concert where everyone was chanting their fascist/nazi chants, and this is what Croatia condemns?! Pathetic. The EU has a real problem on its hands and needs to start putting Croatia in its place, and forcing them to finally open their eyes to their hideous crimes.

If Croatia wants to celebrate statehood, why wouldn't they celebrate on October 8th, the day they cut all ties with Yugoslavia and declared independence (in 1991)? That would seem like the day to celebrate your statehood. Instead, the Croatians choose August 4th and 5th where they committed war crimes and ethnic cleansing. They choose to celebrate the days of their murders and savagery. That says it all to me. They don't celebrate the defeat of the Nazis, end of WW2, defeat of fascim....but they have this complete circus over the murder of Serbs in 1995 and continue to deny their Nazi crimes in WW2 as well. The rest of the world needs to force them to open their eyes.

Seselj and few hundred people burned a flag. Democratic state of Croatia has neo-nazi rallies where thousands of young croats go. This would be like a Polish person protesting against immigration. I am not a fan of Seselj, but this constant whining and execuse to bash Serbia everytime they get makes me think that maybe he wasn't such a bad guy after all.

It's a great question.

To me the answer is pretty obvious.

Just like Tito before them, all the new "nations" of the former Yugoslavia need a small Serbia to succeed. They need to minimize Serbia both spiritually, economically, and militarily.

This of course is no, different than Austro-Hungary's policy.

And it is no different than Ottoman policy.

To rule that area you need Serbia small.

To exceed as a new country, you need Serbia "in its place"

Actually, I have to continually practice lovingkindness, and forgiveness of the evildoers of this world--including myself!--because for me it's the only way out of this "hell", and the next one! I believe that God loves ALL of us equally, and is holding out his hand each and every moment to guide me, and saying "follow me". He wants to lead each of his children, but it's up to each of us, in our own life, to humbly say "yes". As the truism goes:
"There is no way to peace. Peace is the way".

And yes, I think what they are doing is wrong. I think they've made the wrong choice. They've said "yes" to the world, and "no" to Christ. But I rest knowing that we each answer only for ourselves, and nobody else.
