The amendment is correct and exact. But is there any neutral person thinking that not commiting the assassinations and (not)doing whatever else could halt Croatian nationalists to establish the new state at places of ex-Austria-Hungary Empire even not chosing means- support from Nazi Germany? I do not think so.

The nationalists started their "job" step by step killing a MP from Croatia and King Alexander (in France in 1934).
(pm, 6 August 2015 16:48)

That Croatian's name or MP was called Stephan Radic, he was jailed in both Hungary and Serbia for his right wing nationalism and never agreed to joining the Yugoslav Federation. However, he was appeased by Serbian Diplomat, Nikola Pasic to take a more "centrist approach" When Pasic died, Stepan Radic reverted back to nationalistic politics and the autonomy of Croatia based on the new Banovina's, the old Oblast's were eliminated after King Alexander declared the state of Yugoslavia. The Montenegrin MP gunned Punisa Racic gunned down Radic as well as other deputies based on vile comments made by Croatian deputies. The mistake made by the former Yugoslavia government was to essentially not fully arrest Racic, essentially setting him free. This infuriated the Croatian leaders and eventually led to the assassination of King Alexander Karadjeordjevic in 1934 in Marseilles, France. In 1938, the Macek-Cvetkovic deal finally gave Croatian autonomy within the Yugoslavia but this did not last long after WWII started and the invasion of Yugoslavia by Nazi Germany allowing Croatian Ustashe Ante Pavelic to seize power.

You can't be serious!
Ethnically cleansed? How could Croatia ethnically cleanse something that was already clean? Namely, the Serbs kicked everybody else out and then passed a law in their twisted krajina banning them from ever returning.

(Truthlover, 6 August 2015 10:45)

You can't be serious! No Serbs ethnically cleansed in Mostar? No Serbs cleansed in Sisak? No Serbs cleansed in Karlovac? No Serbs cleansed in Osijek? Slavonija? The Croatian Militia did not surround the JNA barracks?

Lets' see, in 1939 about 20% if the present day borders of Croatia previously Banovina's and Oblasts was of Serbian descent, now its less than 4%

Dear Mr Joni,

Serbs live(d) in todays Croatia or up to 1918 in Austria(my grandfathers as well) at least 6 centuries. Between Serbs and Croatians almost everything was in harmony while they having been under Austria empire. After the War Serbian king Alexander decided to help brother peoples establishing The Kingdom SHS (Serbs, Croatians and Slovenians)instead being selfish to continue Kingdom Serbia. The new country was mutual wish of mostly all Slavic people. But, King Alexander neglected an unbridgeable obstacle- different confessions: mixture the Orthodox, Catolics and Muslims. The nationalists started their "job" step by step killing a MP from Croatia and King Alexander (in France in 1934). The Kingdom was becoming weaker and weaker until 1941 when Croatians welcomed Hitler's armada but Serbs (persuaded by England)trew out the agreement with Germany and started batle against fashists even in todays Croatia. During WW2 Serbs gave the biggest victims especially inside of new established country NDH(Idenpedent State of Croatia) recognised only by Hitler's alliance. Hundreds thousands Serbs, Jews,Romas and some komunists Croatians were slaughtered in concetration camp Jasenovac and at many smaler places in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. During and after WW2 Mr Churchil suported Croatian Tito to be leader of new Yugoslavia forcing brotherhood and unity as the way of reconcilation.Orthodox and komunist Serbs accepted this sacrifice...

We should all do our bit to spread the truth about Croatia and deter people from travelling to the country or buying Croatian products until they deal with their fascism and racism. I have managed to persuade a few friends wishing to go Croatia to go somewhere else or Montenegro if they are keen on the coastline. I figured I have stopped around £10,000 being spent in Croatia so far. I'm quite proud of that. It all adds up if we all make an effort.

I'm pretty clear in why Albanians and Serbs hate each other.
And sorry my "ignorance" but i'm not clear what happened between Croats and Serbs before the WWII.
Could somebody explain it to me please?

... A million people in Jasenovac? Might as well make it 5 million if you're already pumping.
As for sanctions. I don't think Croatia needs to worry about the tourist season if Serbia boycotts them. It certainly doesn't rely on the meager number of Serb tourists that arrive each year.
The reason there are so few is because they're probably too embarrassed to return to the place where they got Croatian blood on their hands. If not them then their fathers or grandfathers.
But I do agree that you have to get rid of the "Holy trinity". There are no such things as "reformed ultra-nationalists".
Unfortunately Serbia needs to look in the mirror. They've been lying to themselves and the world for so long that they actually believe what they say.

Kolinda hit the nail on the head. She knows (as does the international community...less Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea--maybe not so much Iran and Cuba now) the vile nationalistic crazy rhetoric coming out of Serbia. The one hope for Serbia is that they get rid of the SVNV (Seselj, Vucic, Nikolic, Vulin) lunatic team in the next series of elections.

"No one denies that after Storm crimes and murders took place -but Storm was a clean action," said the Croatian president.

That's why it's called ethnic "cleansing".

This ended the official program, that will be followed by "culture and entertainment." One of those taking part will be "controversial singer Marko Perkovic Thompson" during whose performances "the Ustasha iconography appears."

What do you know, the Ustasha rockstar appears at a Ustasha gathering. No victory can be clean if an external power secured the victory for you. I am sure all your grandfathers celebrated Jasenovac where nearly a million people were butchered.

Serbia needs to sanction Croatia. Croat businesses are more active in Serbia than vice-versa, Croatia sells more to Serbia than vice-versa, and Croatia's tourist industry relies on Serb tourists. At a time when Croatia is struggling, sanctions from Serbia would damage it economically.

But the holy trinity of forgiveness and reconciliation of Nikolic-Vucic-Dacic will never do that.
