kosovo shouldn't be allowed to play sports because you cannot reward or appease criminals! kosovo it's an illegal entity that's run by former terrorists, gangsters, drug dealer and organ traffickers. besides, there is no talent there.

great news, so what do we have to gain now that Kosovo cant play the qualifiers of world cup? nothing! Our politics are in desperate state.
I miss the times when Vokri played and we didnt hate each other so much.

how can Kosovo compete in the World Cup when half of the Countries of the World doesn't recognise them. When the whole world recognise Kosovo...then they can play.

It's terrible that Kosovo can't participate for FIFA in Russia by 2018.Wonder if there's still a possibility that something can change for the better since 3 years from now is still plenty of time.

I think many of the people who come to this forum are looking for answers and better understanding. We might disagree with many things in Kosovo but sports is about sportsmanship and not politics. Why cant kosovars play for the world cup? Why our politicians waste energy with this is beyond me. Let people play sports and excel on them, I would be happy and proud if Kosovo won the world cup, after all, we always vote for each other on Eurovision :-))

You ask what do they have to gain by Kosovo not playing. I ask why do they have to gain by allowing Kosovo to play and legitimizing theft?
Looks like someone made a whole bunch of promises, took the money and ran.

Why would Platini promise anything to Kosovo? It's not as if he's trying to buy their vote in the Presidential race!

No One Ran with it its right there but you never been there as you live in Australia, Kosovo made it to olympics will to FIFA as well step at a time.

If you had to ask Serbia for permission they would not allow Croatia not Bosnia nor Montenegro to leave but it does not go that way, ask your self this question why no one wants to live with Serbia even tiny Montenegro?

And the reason Kosovo is independent you lost the war ( regardless if you think if its just) you lost the war you loos territory as Hungary and they will tell you Vojvodina was won same way not by Serbia alone but with help.

Look in 1389 was Vojvodina Hungarian? if Yes when are you giving it back?

Serbia and Russia will compete against the sovereign independent republic of Kosovo in rio next year at the the olympics. All the Russian and Serbian athletes will become ambassadors for Kosovo independence so why aren't they working harder for Kosovo in FIFA? It's not clear! Serbia signed Brussels. Russia and Serbia competed against Kosovo in euro games 2015.

I remember the scenes in Belgrade after the declaration of independence and the chanting of the crowds about their Albanian brethren; sounded like a good deal of hatred to me. And I don't suppose for a moment it was one sided either. It is crystal clear from the outside that many Serbs have no time at all for Kosovo Albanians and the feeling is mutual. In Bosnia on the other hand, there certainly was a time when most people got on well with each other and that certainly changed after the independence vote.

To "well done" who said Kosova has no talent, the Switzerland team has manny Albanian players from Kosova. They will all play for kosova. Serbs are afraid of the success Kosova will have.

Kosova will become a member of UEFA and FIFA in the near future however the Kosovar players currently playing for other national teams such as Switzerland (Xherdan Shaqiri), Albania (Lorik Cana), Belgium (Adnan Januzaj) and others will not be able to represent Kosovar in competitions as they've already been capped for another national team.

Montenegrin footballers who previously played for Yugoslavia were able to play for Montenegro because Montenegro left Yugoslavia/ SGG. Kosova hasn't left Switzerland, Albania or Belgium therefore these footballers can't represent Kosova competitively per FIFA/UEFA rules. In theory someone like Miloš Krasić could change his international allegiance to Kosova from Serbia when Kosova becomes a member, but I can't see this happening.

You must be unaware that Serbia has a grand total of negative two points(-2) in its qualifying group for EURO 2116. She hasn't won a single game and finds herself dead last in her group with no chance of qualifying. Now that is the ultimate humiliation. Whereas, Albania is in 2nd place with 10 points and has not lost a single match with a record of 3 wins and 1 tie. So tell me, where is all the Serbian talent?
