Greetings from Hellas to our eternally beloved brothers! Let the jealous, comlexed Albanians cry now!

--Why would we cry? It's not as if you're the US or Germany and we are losing a supporter that has world stage power? You're fvcking Greece who we never expect support to start with. Also what's there to be jelaus about in this Greek-Serb relationship? As part of NATO Greece certainly didn't stop the bombing of Belgrade. We can all be armchair patriots and make irrational posts like you do. It's actions and facts that matter. When it mattered Greece went along with NATO. There was nothing it did to stop the alliance. All we saw were a bunch of psychos holding concerts supporting Milosevic, I repeat Milosevic. The message was clear: Our Greek psychos support the Serbian psycho but our rational people support the bombing of Belgrade. Friendship.

And the first thing Tsipras (the Greek PM) did this morning was to take Kotzias' statements back, explain that "Greece does NOT recognize Kosovo and that Greece's position remains unchanged and finally add that IF Greece ever accepts an office of Kosovo in Athens, that office will NOT be an Embassy! Why didn't B92 have an aryicle with this lovely news today, hm? Did you Albos really think that Greece would EVER recognize Kosovo? Why would we do that? Kosovo is SERBIA! If Tsipras ever dares to recognize it, we will impale him, bury him in Cyprus and write on his gravestone "NO"! Greetings from Hellas to our eternally beloved brothers! Let the jealous, comlexed Albanians cry now! No politician can ever brake the Greek-Serbian bond! Find us on facebook Serbian brothers, there are pages and closed groups about Greece and Serbia where we discuss everything. Only Greeks and Serbs, no retarded, uneducated, complexed Albos! Laku noc from Solun! xxx

There is a simple reason Greece has taken this position now. Their "Masters," aka "Troika," told Greece to take this position. The unscrupulous bureaucrats of the EU directed this action to increase the pressure on Serbia to recognize Kosovo. But, unlike the Greeks, Serbs are not serfs.

I'd really like to know what Greece can do for Kosovo that the US, Germany, and Great Britain can't or haven't. Until a formal recognition comes, this is fodder for the comment section.

Yep. Couldn't have said it better.

Taiwan is recognized by far less countries - but still is a member of more organizations. And Taiwanese passport holders do not need visa to much more countries than Kosovo passport holders.

Maybe because Taiwan has better economy and is not a lawless place ruled by warlords of a civil war...

'Greek Foreign Minister Nikolaos Kotzias has said that his country "will support Kosovo's membership in international bodies and security organizations"'

This is a really positive development in the Balkans. A major thank you to our Greek friends. This is a strong and symbolic move towards regional progress and reconciliation, in contrast to that recent visit to Bosnia from you know who, which was nothing more than another self-centered, hypocritical and pathetic act of aggression, thinly disguised as 'reconciliation.'

Every country has an eclectic array of political ideologies. Obviously we do not support those fascists in Greece, some of whom served as volunteers in Bosnia with the Chetnik genocide machine. That doesn't mean ALL Greeks! But for those who committed war crimes, they need to be subject to real and effective adjudication.

Even as the Greek people are going thru hell, some of their leaders have decided to take the high road. Thank you, Nikolaos Kotzias!

I am of greek descent. I support serbia and its people. I am against any assistance to the Albanians in kosovo. Kosovo is serbia. To Greece stop being puppets of the EU and offcourse the Americans. I find it fascinating that the muslim minority in the old yugoslavia complained of their treatment when in essence all over Europe, the US, UK and Australia they cause chaos as they want there own islamic caliphate. Well done Bill Clinton. Long live my orthodox serbian cousins.

Greece has been voting in favor of Kosova joining organizations for years. Greece voted in favor of Kosova joining the IMF and World Bank in 2008 (ie before Greece went bankrupt). All this happened way before Tsipras was even a known name in Greece. This is not news, nothing has changed.

Greece would have recogized Kosova years ago, the only thing stopping them is their little brother Cyprus.

Peace out!

No shame

Greeces missfortune is Kosovo's luck. Greece has been pressured for better relations with Kosovo by the Germans or there would be no loan. However I'm afraid this is only for show. Everyone knows Greece is in no position to invest anything at the moment. A european country whos economy is on the brink of total colaps can only invest in soupkitchens. And soupkitchens is highly needed in Kosovo.

Indeed, Greece and Kosovo share a lot of 'values': Both countries depend on foreign money and have massive economic problems, both countries are based on corruption and excessive nepotism. But at least Greek politicians are not war criminals.

People in glass houses should not through stones, Serbia has same people in gov as it did in 1990's (Dacic, Vucic, Nikolic) dont forget that!!!

I am sure all freedom fighters are considered war criminals and country with most war criminals in Balkans is Serbia. All have them but you are gold winers on that.

And I suppose Serbia doesn't depend on foreign money. If not for the generous loans from the Russian government taken out of the pockets of russian pensioners who have to look food in the dumpsters, Serbia would look like Zambia. I bet there are plenty of people in Golden Dawn who fought as volunteers in Bosnia. I would say to all wealthy muslims in the region, Greece is your friend only if you have money. Greece will start rating about Byzantium and evil islam once it gets back on its feet in the year 3000.

Greece is finaly coming to their senses and thinking independently from their gang member Serbia.

I suppose since Greek financial society is about to collapse and economy/society on their death bed tend to be more sympathic and real.

Better late than never and that " co-operation office" is a stepping stone to Full Diplomatic Relations.

With Greece co operation we probably will get Cyprus to follow I am sure.

Serbia will also inevitably come through...
