why is 8000 muslems in sebrenica genocide...but
700 000 serbs in jasenovac NOT genocide?????
(tom thum, 13 July 2015 11:57)

I don't know what happened in Jasenovac...
I never heard before about it. ( is the truth )
I learned about Jasenovac here...
Now, in my point of view if Jasenovac was a "genocide" : You are to late!
You never asked for it.
You decided to live with it - and you lived with it for a long period during the Jugoslavia. No???
So if you at that time, never claimed it like a genocide, i think is to late right now...

We, The Proud Serbs, are so sad muslim enemies didn't succeed their intention. Being free of this bad man and proven traitor who was brought to power by US and GB secret services in an attempt to destroy Serbian Spirit of Freedom and Justice could make us just and only happy.

Going there was the most less appropriate decision one could think. This is not the way toward reconciliation.

The presence of your PM just multiplied the pain of the people gathered to burry and commemorate their loved ones. You should not had to be there. It was crazy and hard to be handled.
Serbian politics should go toward a deep and noticeable catharsis. It should be done for the sake of Serbia and for the sake of innocent Serbians which should considered out of this story. But not by a man who declared "we will kill 100 Bosnians for each Serbian", not by one of leaders of Seselj party. Those should be in prison not in their crime scene asking for reconciliation.

Going there just because you want a pass to Europe, making use of your victims, is disgusting and won't help.

To go to Europe your politicians need to be European first.

As a foreigner coming into Serbia to live, I find these articles disturbing. It's hard to believe that countries with so much potential, still can't resolve their past. You have the upper hand in the world for low overhead and educated population. You could really make a huge impact for your economy and future but yet you bicker about things. Don't you know your potential? Economies could be moved but instead it is better to argue and hold each other to the ground.

What do you expect Serbia to do next? Vucic went to honour the Muslim dead and was pelted with stones. How is Serbia not trying to reconcile? Maybe you should be preaching this to the Muslims and Croats. Vucic was attacked in Bosnia not Izetbegovic in Serbia.

Killed at Jasenovac
- Josip Broz Tito - 500,000–600,000 (perhaps the most damning of all estimates!)
- Encyclopedia of the Holocaust 600,000
- Simon Wiesenthal's Museum of Tolerance 600,000
- Yad Vashem Center 500k killed, 250k exiled, 200k converted to Catholocism

Killed at Jasenovac according to German military commanders
- 400,000 Serbs (Alexander Löhr)
- 350,000 Serbs (Lothar Rendulic)
- 300,000 (Edmund Glaise von Horstenau)
- 600–700,000 (Ernst Fick)
- 700,000 (Massenbach)
- 750,000 (Hermann Neubacher)

The FULL quote from the US Holocaust Museum:

"As of 2009, USHMM has estimated the Ustaše regime murdered between 66,000 and 99,000 people (mostly Serbs) in Jasenovac between 1941 and 1945...... during the period of Ustaše rule, a total of between 330,000 and 390,000 ethnic Serbs and more than 30,000 Croatian Jews were killed either in Croatia or at Auschwitz-Birkenau."

"Determining the number of victims is highly problematic.... As more documents become accessible and more research is conducted into the records of the Ustaša regime, historians and demographers may be able to determine more precise figures than are now available.

Just keeping it real.

Hey ari gold, the number killed at jasenovac was not 700,000 but 100,000 and was not just serbs but 5 main groups 2 of which you constantly leave out.
So a senior bosniak official was behind this incident? Well was vucic not a follower of a war criminal? And some of you actually think this incident will be remembered yet deny the genocide that happened there 20 years prior.

Between the UK's (failed) resolution and the UN and this savage behavior, any reconciliation that has been achieved since the war has been completely reversed. And I promise you those involved could give a damn about the victims, they care about RS no longer existing.
(Ari Gold, 13 July 2015 10:34)

Ari,
I think, in the end, it will be proven that Serbs were behind this attack on Vucic. It is the same old M.O. Serbs have employed for years: attack your own people in hopes of blaming the attack on the other side. There are many infamous examples of this ruse that are well documented. Do you really think the RS could not prevent an attack on a Serb leader on their own turf. This obvious ploy is getting a little tired. The world is onto Serb dirty tricks. Time for Serbs to change to a different underhanded scheme.

And, I promise you the Serbs involved could give a damn about the victims, they care only about the RS becoming a part of Serbia.

Old elite which Alija belonged to simply became "democrats" to get more personal wealth. Karadzic feared that Alija would get support of radical islamists and thus wanted JNA to protect the Serbs in Bosnia. All sides simply fought for leaders who wanted villas and other luxury life style and possibly even more. Had there even been no islam at the Balkans, none of this would have happened.

The Izetbegovic family and their associates have done more damage to the collective people of BiH than anyone else.

They chased their vision of a unified Bosnia, which was never, ever going to happen, and they sold the people of all 3 groups down the river.

Peace deals were on the table in 1992 but they were happy to let the body count rise to drag in the west and help them get their Islamic state, which not even most Bosniaks wanted.

This is no different than their manufactured Markale massacres - contrived to get Western sympathy and report.

I say the Presidency itself was involved and conspired to assasinate a foreign head of state. Izetbegivic is no different than his father.

All Serbs will savor July 11 (the 25th annivesary of Srebrenica) as the day Bosnia fell.

Good.

You deserve it for all your treachery and deceit which began in 1992.

I've been hard on Vucic in the past, but he is clearly the only leader that is concerned with reconciliation in the region. He came to Srebrenica for the Bosnian Muslim victims knowing most in Serbia find the gathering a giant hypocrisy given that nobody shows up for the Serb victims of Muslim aggression in Bratunac and Kravica. And still, they treat him so disgracefully.

Well good job. You stained the Srebrenica memorial. Instead of it being about the victims, it was about "allahu akbhar" as they chanted while hurling rocks at his head.
