The EU and Great Britain did this as a means of punishment towards Serbs for not opposing Russia. Forgiving Serbs?

How does a person forgive someone that never accepts responsibility for their actions?

The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia's final judgement was Serbs committed Genocide in Bosnia.

Either reconciliation results in a confession , acceptance,apology,restitution and moving on with life or everyone is stuck in limbo for ever argueing the obvious.

Kind of shows you how just one label distorts the whole story. Is there really a difference in a war crime and genocide. In both cases, 8000 men and boys were killed by Serbs for the reason that they were Bosnian Muslims. We can debate whether it was genocide or a war crime for decades but the bottom line is it was evil and those responsible should be punished to the max.

Yeah, but the Germans did not try to dispute that what Germany did during WW2 with the extermination of Jews and others was a crime against humanity (the crime of genocide did not exist at that time). They just recognized it for what it was. On the other hand some Serbs are refusing to recognize that what happened at Srebrenica was genocide even though the international community has determined that it was genocide beyond reasonable doubt.

That's not correct. They determined that it was members of VRS who committed genocide, not the Serb people. The vast majority of Serbs are not monsters to slaughter helpless 14 year old boys in the middle of Europe and at the end of the 20th century.

You cannot paint the Ottomans in one black color because 500 years is a very big period when the Empire changed at least 3 times. Before 17 century it was a pure Orthodox Christian Empire with Greek patriachs and Russian Shahs. They obeyed Veliki Novgorod and payed them money as any other Horde. Things changed in 1613 when German vassals Romanovs seized power Moscovia region. They launched wars against all other Hordes including what you call Ottomans. Both in Moscow and Stanbul (Сан Булгар)Russian people were at the helm. So what you say sounds as SERBS SAVED EUROPE FROM THE RUSSIANS. His life should have not been in danger. Bosnia should have provided adequte security for him which is a blemish on their government. Remember the drone incident at the soccer match? Albanians blemed Serbia for bad security and it was not in any way on the same scale. Politicians should be awarded adequate security and should not be exposed to danger of being hurt.

Notice picture without glasses, but no noticeable marks, the glasses were probably broken in the chaos of his security staff trying to get out of the way of the flying stones.
But I do have to give Vucic credit for one thing, if it had been Nikolic and you know he is kicking himself for missing out on this opportunity now, he would have been having a photo session with him in a hospital bed covered in bandages and several IVs with Priest around the bed praying for his life.

They cry out Allah Akbar on both sides and kill each other. Little can be said positive about the Catholic Church. Too much blood they shed. Our church also not always behaved good. Neither you know what really happened during those 500 years. The problem is that the Serbs almost always trusted the Russians no matter who was at the helm there. Meanwhile in 1613 after 40 years of attempts German colony's (of the Horde) governors succeeded in a coup and brought to power the Romanovs. De facto for next 170 years till late 18 century Russia became German colony. In 1698 they killed young Peter I as soon as he tried to behave independent and in 2 years sent there a new (German) Peter I … But after the Great Tartaria was destroyed in 1775 Russia became really free and it is this Russia that the Serbs remember, trust and love. Because before that Serbs made the elite of the Ottoman Empire. The "Serb faction" did not committ genocide. Genocide is a crime for which there is individual criminal responsibility; there is not such a thing of a "faction" of whatever ethinicity being guilty of genocide. Otherwise you are no better than people like Peggy who advocate the extermination of all 14 year old boys because the faction of "Fourteen year old boys are known to fight in a Muslim army".

Yeah, but the Germans did not try to dispute that what Germany did during WW2 with the extermination of Jews and others was a crime against humanity (the crime of genocide did not exist at that time). They just recognized it for what it was. On the other hand some Serbs are refusing to recognize that what happened at Srebrenica was genocide even though the international community has determined that it was genocide beyond reasonable doubt.

You cannot paint the Ottomans in one black color because 500 years is a very big period when the Empire changed at least 3 times. Yes things changed in 18-19 centuries but before that this Empire was the best shelter for the Orthodox Christians from Inquisition and Reformation disasters. Neither you know what really happened during those 500 years. The problem is that the Serbs almost always trusted the Russians no matter who was at the helm there. Meanwhile in 1613 after 40 years of attempts German colony's (of the Horde) governors succeeded in a coup and brought to power the Romanovs. De facto for next 170 years till late 18 century Russia became German colony. In 1698 they killed young Peter I as soon as he tried to behave independent and in 2 years sent there a new (German) Peter I … But after the Great Tartaria was destroyed in 1775 Russia became really free and it is this Russia that the Serbs remember, trust and love. You do realize Bosnian War involved three ethnic groups the Serb,the Croats and the The Moslems.
The majority of War Crimes were committed by the Serbs.
You can call them JNA, Army of Serbska Republica or what ever....

Kind of shows you how just one label distorts the whole story. Is there really a difference in a war crime and genocide. In both cases, 8000 men and boys were killed by Serbs for the reason that they were Bosnian Muslims. We can debate whether it was genocide or a war crime for decades but the bottom line is it was evil and those responsible should be punished to the max.

That's not correct. They determined that it was members of VRS who committed genocide, not the Serb people. The vast majority of Serbs are not monsters to slaughter helpless 14 year old boys in the middle of Europe and at the end of the 20th century.

Before Serbian commentators in this site start jumping about the incident with Vucic, they seem to "forget" one noble thing that the representatives of victims of Srebrenica did to Vucic by shaking hands with him.
THIS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP OF VUCIC IN SREBRENICA AND IF SERBIA WANTS PEACE THEY SHOULD HAVE FOCUSED TO THIS GESTURE.

Whether Serbs are good or not for you has nothing to do with them being guilty or not guilty of genocide.

The "Serb faction" did not committ genocide. Genocide is a crime for which there is individual criminal responsibility; there is not such a thing of a "faction" of whatever ethinicity being guilty of genocide. Otherwise you are no better than people like Peggy who advocate the extermination of all 14 year old boys because the faction of "Fourteen year old boys are known to fight in a Muslim army".

But I do have to give Vucic credit for one thing, if it had been Nikolic and you know he is kicking himself for missing out on this opportunity now, he would have been having a photo session with him in a hospital bed covered in bandages and several IVs with Priest around the bed praying for his life.
