It is not for me to speak on behalf of Bosnia's Moslem population for I have not suffered like those who were present today in Srebrenica. Thank you first of all for coming, that in itself deserves recognition. And God willing some day in the future you can return and fulfill this exercise once again and leave peacefully, and should such a scenario present itself. I'll gladly take those rocks and stones for you.

The Brits killed estimated 30 000 000 in their colonies and nobody talks about it. The USA also killed millions after WW2 ect. I follow this real tragedy of Srebrenica and find it very close to what we have about the so called Katyn tragedy. They talk only about only one side of the medal like we can see it around Srebrenica. I mean 1939 when 250 000 of the Polish troops retreated to the USSR where they were placed in 7 camps. Poles were and are utmost Russophobes and in 1920 had invaded Russia and tortured to death some 100 000 Soviet prisoners of war. But when in 1941 Hitler Polish prisoners became a problem and about 8% of them ( only officers and policemen) were executed. In 1943 Goebbels and in 1953 the USA revived the tragedy in their agitation. So today after 76 years the West is still blaming Russia. Meanwhile only 1 of the 7 camps was on the “Russian” soil and no executions were held there. Because Russians were pre-appointed as bad guys. No matter that 80% of time USSR was ruled by people from Georgia and Ukraine. Nothing can make them change their attitude. Seems that same is the fate of the Serbs. Nobody cares that Serbia was not directly involved to the war and that Muslim atrocities had provoked Srebrenica tragedy. Like the Russians Serbs a demonized and that’s it. So we have to be patient and firm. Vucic made a brave though rather a stupid trip so he regained my confidence.

Someone needs to take a history book into this area. These people are all the same people. Go back far enough to 12 13 generations brothers were split from each other and muslimised. These people are all slavs/serbs. What else do they think they are, Immigrants from turkey. These are muslim serbs. Nothing else. They only know one language (serbian) they look exactly like serbs. Srebrenica is in Republika Srpska so he can go there any time he wants. He was attacked by Muslim extremists who can't accept everyone has the right to disagree with the western created "genocide". It didn't pass through the UN so it is not internationally recognised. Only the US and EU, who were on the side of Muslims, have done so. If those extremists were smart, they would have thrown rocks at Clinton who told Izetbegovic that 5000 must die in Srebrenica to justify intervention.

He came to show respect and this is how he was treated. We have nothing to gain from reconciliation with either bosnjaks, croats or even less the albanians. This is no surprise - Vucic and his fellow chetniks did everything in their power to deny and minimize the genocide in Srebrenica that was waged in their name, by their soldiers and 'paramilitaries' - supervised and paid for by Belgrade. Not just a few bad actors but the state, and Vucic, Nikolic and Dacic were all a part of that Greater Serbia project. Mladic, the main executioner, is still on their payroll! They are our enemy.

Back in Belgrade, a handful of good and progressive individuals - Serbs not Chetniks - chose to show their respect for the victims of Srebrenica through evocative exhibits and symbolic acts. Despite their repressive govt, despite the warped media there. They are the Serbs we need to honor and respect.

I agree with you for the most part, however, your assumption that Vucic's motives were sincere is something I do not buy. I've been dealing with Serbs for some time now. I believe this was orchestrated by Serbia to turn out the way it did, so as to discredit the bosniaks. This is the standard M.O. used by Serbia to make them appear to be the victims. I am sure that after this incident is investigated it will turn out that Serbs set this up. Many examples come to mind, e.g. the Panda Cafe massacre of 1998, the Martinovic bottle "rape" case of 1985-1987 among the most famous. All these cases were later determined to have been deviously planned and committed by the Serbian gov't. As a matter of fact, the Serb gov't eventually admitted to having been responsible. These and other cases are easily verifiable. This was planned well in advance by the Serb authorities.

All Vucic has to do, is mention that what occurred in Srebrenica 1995 was 'GENOCIDE'. Once that happens the reconciliation process can begin. It's a shame that to this day the Serbs continue to shift the blame on others. Even ISIS haven't committed such atrocities of that scale.

I used to come to this website a few years ago when Kosovo Declared Independence and periodically I kept an eye on the website when major news event related to Albania and Kosovo would show up. I found it entertaining to see other people reactions from both sides and all sides as I see some claimed foreigners who apparently are obsessed with Serbia. Please stop and don’t foul yourself. I am American Citizen as well as Albanian but I don’t come here and act or say “The American guy from Chicago”, what I have learned is simple. In 15 years overseas I have changed as a human been and I see things differently, it doesn’t matter anymore to me if the other person is Albanian, Serbian or any kind of ethnicity. What I want to see in this website and I was hoping to see is simple justice and open mindless from everyone so we can learn from each other and put justice first before nationality. We live in the 21 century and it is sad to see so much hate towards other people as in the 17 century. No matter what nationality we are, we are humans for god sake. We all should speak up for injustice and should stand up for the truth. As Balkan has open borders most of you people in here have closed your mind and they need to open their minds. I was happy to see Prime Minister Rama meeting Vucic, the first step towards reconciliation is talking to each other.

You albanians presume that if the Hague come up with a verdict one must be guilty. Same as Srebrenica. The ICJ decides its genocide therefore it must be. I agree with you he went there it was hard for him issue in balkans is that its not trusted 20years from asking to kill 100 Bosnians for each Serb.

However where I think Balkans will be better is if we get Rid of people from the 90s it is strange to me that Serbia has no one better than (dacic, Nikolic and Vucic) or Kosovo does not have someone better than Thaqi....

Before I comment, I would like to point out that I have no specific allegiance with any particular side in this situation. I simply want to say it as I see it.
First look at how the mothers of the bereaved met with Vucic. That shows incredible character and was the one truly sincere act of reconciliation on show during this whole episode. If they can act in such a way then I would suggest that anyone else has no excuse for not being able to show a similar level of humanity. Vucic, apparently, went there to show respect and to try to further the cause of reconciliation. Many terrible things have happened in the past but at some point everyone must look to the future and try to make it better than the past. Accusations and stone throwing are not the way forward. Respect and dialogue are the way forward. Look at pretty much any country's history, my own included, and you will find acts of violence against others. Can you ever imagine the UK PM being treated this way on a visit to India or to Dresden? What about the German Chancellor being treated in this way on a trip to Poland or Israel? The reason why not? Reconciliation and an acceptance that we all need to look to the future and find ways of living peacefully together. I would suggest that when someone extends the hand of reconciliation it should be met with the same courage and grace as was the case with the mothers in this instance. Truly an example to us all and deeply humbling.

Getting rid of people from the 90s isn't nessesarily the problem. Most people writing comment here were probably to small to remember the war and wouldn't mind if there was another one. They don't know the horrors it. I think therefore leaders who know what war Is are more valuable. At the same time they can be assosiate with issues that bothers the other side and can therefore also hinder better relations just like you said. I agree about Hitler. Everything else is hypocrisy. As you must know Stalin’s repressions started in 1936 when his wife committed suicide. And we have exact figures of the executed between 1936 and 1953. They are some 890 000 including the criminals, the traitors during the war ect. Not so much really. Concerning Srebrenica tragedy it was a war crime to be prosecuted together with the multiple less advertised crimes against the Serbs.

The Polish tragedy that you’ve learned from me is a bigger tragedy not only because they killed 80 000 – 100 000 but because they killed also all the children, women and the old. They killed not only Poles but all non-Ukrainians including the Jews, Russians, Armenians, Greek ect. Poles simply were the majority in Wolyn Region of Ukraine. This was a real genocide and it lasted till we destroyed the bastards in Berlin and their vassals in Galitsis.

It's not often I take the time to respond to narrow minded observations and I'd personally much prefer not to.

Anyway I'll allow you the luxury of a response. First with regard to your analogy of Alexander Vucic as a psychopath I find deeply distasteful. Alexander is in essence I believe a good human being and has taken upon himself an exceptionally difficult job and that is to ensure a better quality of life for the average Serbian citizen. A task he has performed well given the circumstances. He regrets some of the things that were said in the past and of some of the associations he may have built.

One horrible thing that can be drawn from this unfortunate incident is he now knows what it feels like to be hunted down although not on a scale of what happened 20 years ago thank God. I'm sure he'll reflect on those feelings and perhaps this will give him the empathy he needs in order to reconcile with those who have clearly suffered. Some from the same experience.

Personally I would have preferred that some of those ministers in his cabinet took those stones for they quite clearly deserve them.

Bosnian reaction of throwing stones toward Vucic can be justified as Serbia still behaves all high and mighty with no regard to what's really happened in Bosnia. Serbian political elite, which consists of hard-line nationalists, is reluctant to accept the bitter truth that in Srebrenica, serbs committed genocide. no serbian official has ever condemned genocide nor has asked for apologize to the Bosnian people. What's really upsetting is that Serbs continue to keep large chunks of Bosnia's territory - the so-called Republika Srpska makes it difficult for obtaining any peace. The first step toward reconciling is to accept Serbian ungodly deeds on innocent civilians. yet serbs seems very far from behaving in a civilized manner: most of them perceive themselves as 'victim' of an well-thought-out plot of USA, Croatia, Bosnia and Albanians. Come to think of it, Vucic's visit should have been cancelled because the wounds of many Bosnians are still fresh. Accordingly, some pressure must be placed upon Belgrade to hold accountable those who slaughtered innocent Bosnians. The same goes for Kosova who suffered under Serbian yoke from 1912. More than 10.000 Albanians were killed, exterminated and massacred while a million other were expelled from their homes.

This is no surprise - Vucic and his fellow chetniks did everything in their power to deny and minimize the genocide in Srebrenica that was waged in their name, by their soldiers and 'paramilitaries' - supervised and paid for by Belgrade. The Brits killed estimated 30 000 000 in their colonies and nobody talks about it. The USA also killed millions after WW2 ect. I follow this real tragedy of Srebrenica and find it very close to what we have about the so called Katyn tragedy. They talk only about only one side of the medal like we can see it around Srebrenica. I mean 1939 when 250 000 of the Polish troops retreated to the USSR where they were placed in 7 camps. Poles were and are utmost Russophobes and in 1920 had invaded Russia and tortured to death some 100 000 Soviet prisoners of war. But when in 1941 Hitler Polish prisoners became a problem and about 8% of them ( only officers and policemen) were executed. In 1943 Goebbels and in 1953 the USA revived the tragedy in their agitation. So today after 76 years the West is still blaming Russia. Meanwhile only 1 of the 7 camps was on the “Russian” soil and no executions were held there. Because Russians were pre-appointed as bad guys. No matter that 80% of time USSR was ruled by people from Georgia and Ukraine. Nothing can make them change their attitude. Seems that same is the fate of the Serbs. Nobody cares that Serbia was not directly involved to the war and that Muslim atrocities had provoked Srebrenica tragedy. Like the Russians Serbs a demonized and that’s it. So we have to be patient and firm. Vucic made a brave though rather a stupid trip so he regained my confidence.

Srebrenica is in Republika Srpska so he can go there any time he wants. He was attacked by Muslim extremists who can't accept everyone has the right to disagree with the western created "genocide". It didn't pass through the UN so it is not internationally recognised. Only the US and EU, who were on the side of Muslims, have done so. I agree with you for the most part, however, your assumption that Vucic's motives were sincere is something I do not buy. I've been dealing with Serbs for some time now. I believe this was orchestrated by Serbia to turn out the way it did, so as to discredit the bosniaks. This is the standard M.O. used by Serbia to make them appear to be the victims. I am sure that after this incident is investigated it will turn out that Serbs set this up. Many examples come to mind, e.g. the Panda Cafe massacre of 1998, the Martinovic bottle "rape" case of 1985-1987 among the most famous. All these cases were later determined to have been deviously planned and committed by the Serbian gov't. As a matter of fact, the Serb gov't eventually admitted to having been responsible. These and other cases are easily verifiable. This was planned well in advance by the Serb authorities.

This made me chuckle (and made my day).

What more of a message does this send to the world about Serbia?

You albanians presume that if the Hague come up with a verdict one must be guilty. Same as Srebrenica. The ICJ decides its genocide therefore it must be. I believe Thaci, Oric, Haradinaj, Milosevic etc did some horrible things. Some were sentenced some were not perhaps due to lack of evidence perhaps for political reasons. Getting rid of people from the 90s isn't nessesarily the problem. Most people writing comment here were probably to small to remember the war and wouldn't mind if there was another one. They don't know the horrors it. I think therefore leaders who know what war Is are more valuable. I used to come to this website a few years ago when Kosovo Declared Independence and periodically I kept an eye on the website when major news event related to Albania and Kosovo would show up. I found it entertaining to see other people reactions from both sides and all sides as I see some claimed foreigners who apparently are obsessed with Serbia. Please stop and don’t foul yourself. I am American Citizen as well as Albanian but I don’t come here and act or say “The American guy from Chicago”, what I have learned is simple. In 15 years overseas I have changed as a human been and I see things differently, it doesn’t matter anymore to me if the other person is Albanian, Serbian or any kind of ethnicity. What I want to see in this website and I was hoping to see is simple justice and open mindless from everyone so we can learn from each other and put justice first before nationality. We live in the 21 century and it is sad to see so much hate towards other people as in the 17 century. No matter what nationality we are, we are humans for god sake. We all should speak up for injustice and should stand up for the truth. As Balkan has open borders most of you people in here have closed your mind and they need to open their minds. I was happy to see Prime Minister Rama meeting Vucic, the first step towards reconciliation is talking to each other.

Count of Kosova: I made no mention of Vucic's motive whatsoever and have no idea what it was, neither do I care. My comment was intended to draw the distinction between the behaviour of the mob and that of the bereaved mothers.

Before I comment, I would like to point out that I have no specific allegiance with any particular side in this situation. I simply want to say it as I see it.
First look at how the mothers of the bereaved met with Vucic. That shows incredible character and was the one truly sincere act of reconciliation on show during this whole episode. If they can act in such a way then I would suggest that anyone else has no excuse for not being able to show a similar level of humanity. Vucic, apparently, went there to show respect and to try to further the cause of reconciliation. Many terrible things have happened in the past but at some point everyone must look to the future and try to make it better than the past. Accusations and stone throwing are not the way forward. Respect and dialogue are the way forward. Look at pretty much any country's history, my own included, and you will find acts of violence against others. Can you ever imagine the UK PM being treated this way on a visit to India or to Dresden? What about the German Chancellor being treated in this way on a trip to Poland or Israel? The reason why not? Reconciliation and an acceptance that we all need to look to the future and find ways of living peacefully together. I would suggest that when someone extends the hand of reconciliation it should be met with the same courage and grace as was the case with the mothers in this instance. Truly an example to us all and deeply humbling.

It's not often I take the time to respond to narrow minded observations and I'd personally much prefer not to.

Anyway I'll allow you the luxury of a response. First with regard to your analogy of Alexander Vucic as a psychopath I find deeply distasteful. Alexander is in essence I believe a good human being and has taken upon himself an exceptionally difficult job and that is to ensure a better quality of life for the average Serbian citizen. A task he has performed well given the circumstances. He regrets some of the things that were said in the past and of some of the associations he may have built.

One horrible thing that can be drawn from this unfortunate incident is he now knows what it feels like to be hunted down although not on a scale of what happened 20 years ago thank God. I'm sure he'll reflect on those feelings and perhaps this will give him the empathy he needs in order to reconcile with those who have clearly suffered. Some from the same experience.

Personally I would have preferred that some of those ministers in his cabinet took those stones for they quite clearly deserve them.
