Although I agree with most of your statement, I have to remind you that it is in the Serbia's interest for Ramush and Thaci to be in power in Kosovo.Also, handing over Ramush to Serbia would have rally Albanians around him.

Serbia don't want educated Albanians to run things in Kosovo.

Remember, they humiliated Rugova every chance they had and pushing Albanians to elect the hard line politicians.

So if I am a K-Alb I have to chose the lesser evil such as Thaci over Mustafa who will be humiliated by Serbs because he doesn't have bones.

As long as Serbia will threaten to take over Kosovo, Albanians will elect tough guys because when they elected Rugova they were humiliated on daily bases.

What diplomatic passport and issued by what country? Just curious does Vojvodian have their own Diplomatic passports?

Not that I care if Ramush spent his entire life in jail as he is nothing but an uneducated peasant with current and criminal past however I am bit surprised that Slovenia would arrest him. Kosovo authorities should arrest Ramush...there is million reason why this man should be in jail.

I listened to his interview last night on Kohavision and I am such ashamed that this man is allowed to represent our people. The language which he choose, the words that came out of his mouth... one could immediately tell that he is nothing but a low life street thug.

There are so many young talented and brilliant Albanians that can run circles around our current politicians but because of lowlifes like Ramush and Thaqi these young talents refuse to get involved in politics.

For certain, Kosovars would not complain if Slovenia suddenly handed him over to Serbia, majority would probably say good riddance and follow up with Thaqi. Be warned as he may try to steal something or usurp the state property and claim to be the rightful owner. Naturally for the right price he will sell it to you and require that you make monthly payments so that he can provide you with the insurance so that your newly aquired property does not go in flames overnight. Should you fail to make monthly payments there is good change your place might catch fire overnight. Well almost forgot he has to compete for that in Serbia as well I am sure you have politician thiefs there as well.

Looks like the EU/UK/US are trying to find some carrots and say to Serbia, hey, we offer these carrots if you shoot yourself in the head and support the Srebrenica resolution.

How else can they justify their crimes? Their citizens are increasingly becoming anti-Muslim and what the West did in the former Yugoslavia doesn't look good any more.

Man or Lady you must not understand what I wrote as I was asking the Serb friends here that if Kosovo is not a country how can they have their own diplomatic passports and if Kosovo is as Vojvodina do they issue their own.

It was great to see Kelmendi carry the flag, even though not Albanin nor from Kosovo.

Kosovo is heavily influenced by the United States and other key Western European powers who seem perfectly fine since 1999 to let the biggest gaggle of morons and village idiots run the region. Rugova was sidelined by Washington, not Belgrade. The PDK was established as America's best friends after the conflict even after its members systematically hunted down LDK members and other people considered competitors to their hold on power. Thaci and Haradinaj are protected as valuable assets by the West and the only person in Kosovo who has obtained a voice for the opposition of any importance is Albin Kurti whom said international powers want silenced.

The only people legitimately upset over Haradinaj's arrest are members of his AAK party and those keyboard nationalists of the Diaspora who see him as some sort of comic book hero. The vast majority of Albanian in Kosovo, I believe, couldn't care if he and the other war "heroes"-turned-"profiteers" were collectively rounded up and imprisoned.

I personally would love to see intelligent leadership coming out of Pristina but sadly the EU and US have other plans for Kosovo's future.

Part of what you say is true, I think most of the people of Kosovo are ready for new blood to lead them into the future. Thaci and Haradinaj were necessary to fight off Serbian oppression but they do not have the skills to lead them into the future.
However, I do not think there are many that want anyone from Kosovo prosecuted in Serbia for anything. Allowing a country that was so brutal and merciless on the people of Kosovo to adjudicate any of its citizens who fought that oppressive regime would be a kick in the stomach.

You're either too young to remember or you're new to the discussion. Rugova represented the only legitimate socio-political movement among Kosovo's Albanian community throughout the 1990s. Yet his strategy of non-violent resistance doesn't work well in a society keen on violence and war and the US found a more compliant ally (read as puppet) in the leadership of the KLA which conveniently formed a political party - the PDK - shortly after the conflict and has remained in power ever since. While no one was stupid enough to eliminate the highly popular Rugova, his political career was all but finished.

Milosevic made him popular. Thaci made him irrelevant. Lung cancer made him history.

Rugova was president until his death and he was elected even after war by K-Alb.
The problem with you guys was that when Rugova was running things in Kosovo during 1990 Miloshevich only humiliated him.
He never even consider talking with him, let alone to make deals with Rugova.

Rugova had strong support from USA and Vatican otherwise they would have sidelined him since 1999.
If you were talking with Rugova you would have gotten a much better deal that you have now.

But Serbia choose to humiliate Rugova so the West started plan B.
