Serbs should be very careful about whats going on. The reasoning behind this is very well thought out. If Serbs accept this, they are spitting on themselves. If they go against it, which they will, Serbs and Russians look like they are 'denying genocide'. It will increase tensions in the Balkans and lead to more problems between Serbs and Muslim countries like Kuwait and UAE (and Russia and Muslims countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan). Then it allows NATO to play peacemaker and increase its influence in Muslim countries. The fact that this was initiated by the group more responsible for the problems in the world than anyone else, isn't surprising. It's actually a genius move when you think about it.

I LOVE THE BALKANS!

I am a Brit, born and raised in that sceptred Isle. Since 1999 I have had a connection thru work and then personnel reasons with the Balkans. I now live in Serbia.
The beauty of the Balkans is marred by the attitude and behaviour of its people, and it’s not helped by the S&!% stirring and provocation seen by folk on sites like this.
Croatia, Bosnia, Albania/Kosovo and Serbia are all equally responsible for the horrors inflicted on each other during the nineties. You allowed yourselves to be manipulated and used.
By continuing the conflicts in coffee bars, media sites and other such places, you are poisoning future generations and in all likelihood preventing any chance of peace and reconciliation.
It doesn’t matter ‘who suffered most’, you all suffered. It doesn’t matter ‘who started it’ YOU all can end it by showing some grace and humility.
The Balkans is a beautiful region with a rich history and some lovely genuine sincere people.
Can you be one of those people?

Since you OBVIOUSLY have possession of these records or have seen them and are not relying on EXAGGERATED PROPAGANDA yourself, the very clear cut solution is for you to make those available to people here. Unless you are guilty of that which you accuse others.

Or are you relying on one of the many who post here who have access to all the confidential papers of any government which no one else does, so we should believe their statements.

You are right, Serbs didn't kill anyone.

All the victims in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Kosovo killed themselves.

Case closed.
Go sleep with Sesel's and Cubrilovic' books and have sweet dreams!

Oh roberto, you're on this site quite a lot. School must have let out for the summer and you're looking to pass the time.

If you ever scrape up enough money to afford a trip over to Serbia (don't worry, it's not full of criminals), you'd realize the image of a country you've conjured up in your mind doesn't exist. See frisco, ordinary everyday Serbs, Bosnians, Croats, and even Albanians get along quite well. In fact, Serbia is regarded by many people who visit it as a great place with some of the most tolerant people out there. There's no "evil past" to apologize for any more than their neighbors have, there never was some sort of "nazi" government you now like to use to describe the country as being under. In fact, nothing you say about Serbia is even remotely true and you'd know that if you actually traveled there and spoke with its people.

Take a chance roberto, there's a wider world out there beyond your one bedroom bachelor pad. And there's more to learn from than the outdated and agenda setting blog sites you read religiously. Get out more and maybe you'd be less of an insufferable douchebag.

Alas, witnessing the sight of manu fools denying this heinous crime. Serbs and supporters are vile, and have been vile ever since the aftermath of the Battle of Kosovo.

Serbia did this crime, and shall now face the sword of the west. Weak and disgusting, even Russia admits it was a genocide. Their bestest of friends. Bosnia for Bosniaks and Croats, not Serbs.

Roberto really made me laugh with his comment. How much hate and craziness! Serbs who lost 80 000 people, who suffered most should apologize to those that started wars of 90's with help of "Big Brother". Serbs of Krajina were expelled after 400 years from their homes, whole one nation with help of Albanian nationalists Agim Ceku, Rahim Ademi. Ceku later led ethnic cleansing of Kosovo and Metohija. It was a kind of crusade that "Big Brother" led using their proxies in the region. It is funny too that Serbs are those who apologize most and talk about reconciliation in region and are always under attack to accept something that they are not: only guilty while those who accuse act as they were neutral side, not involved in conclifts of 90's, so that gives them right to be judge and jury, to preach to Serbs. It's comical how much hypocrisy comes from those peoples! They see their preaching as continuation of their wars against Serbs, nothing else. Every empire has to fall and their proxies will follow, but I hope their role in Empire evil policy will be not forgotten and never forgiven.

But, she clearly express at time that SHE would not support Serbia if she decide to attack Kroatia at first and then the rest.
I wonder why? Simply!
Those were the most wrong actions. Russia very clearly told this to Serbia.
And now Russia as "usually' decide to be "unilateral", while she should condemn the actions made by the Serbian Government not try to cover them.
Those were "bad" actions made by an STATE. To pitifully!
And nobody have steal or ever tried to steal something from Serbia, just Serbia try always to steal " lands" from their neighbors. Be informed!

Serbia ought to demand all of Bosnian Muslim military records.

If people actually wanted the truth AND NOT EXAGGERATED AND DECEPTIVE PROPAGANDA, they would demand the Bosnian Muslim military records which would shed light on what happened.

The records would show all who died or went missing BEFORE the fall - and already only a fraction of those records (which fell into Serbs' hands) did show that Bosnian Muslim SOLDIERS who died months and years before the fall were being falsely claimed to have been killed in the fall and in mass graves.

The Bosnian Muslims are digging up their fallen soldiers from the whole war period and claiming they were killed in the fall.

They are also including Bosnian Muslim soldiers who were stationed and fighting in other towns and areas of eastern Bosnia.

The Zepa Bosnian Muslims soldiers are included in those who died in Srebrenica.

Serbia should kick out BRITAIN'S EMBASSY AND SPIES and get rid of their embassy in Britain.

It makes a kind of perverse sense that of all the alternatives Serbia can conjure up, the obvious and proper one is not even mentioned - to accept their evil past, apologize in a meaningful way, offer reparations to victims' families and survivors, attempt to rebuild bridges between people, encourage mutual regional support and cooperation, respect borders, and stop trying to destroy neighboring countries.

Can anyone imagine a time when Serbia would have a functioning democratic governance, arrest and prosecute thousands of war crimes and war criminals, and try to build some kind of normal and hopeful future?

Instead, de-nazification never happened, was never forced upon Serbia as it should have been. Today we see the results - just so many Putin fascist wannabees...

Not joining NATO, not imposing sanctions against Russia, allowing Russian investments, and helping to resove the Ukraine crisis are all in Serbia's best interests anyway. A Russian veto of that stupid Srebrenica resolution would just be the cherry on the sundae. Does the Serbian government even have to think about this?

NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days and then proceeded to occupy and steal it's territory, but the Russians didn't. Is it really that hard to figure out who is Serbia's friend and who is Serbia's enemy?

Vucic let it go before the UN security council, ask for no amendments why waste effort to work with those who wish to demonise Serbs. Do however prepare a full and lengthy case of the Farce that such a politicised move by the UK backed by US and France no doubt while including these arguments the short comings of colonialism by the said same backers! Quid pro quo or tit for tat!

Should these actions be that of genocide then surely there are many many such instances that those who wish to politicise tragic events could be up for the same treatment. Perhaps the Brits wish to apologise to India, Pakistan, China for the opium wars and so on throughout the globe. Who are the Brits is a interesting concept too and perhaps its the English who should equally apologise to the Irish, the Scots, the Welsh, whom they subjugated prior to the Brits subjugated many others across the globe. And lets not forget recent times where western military have killed without impunity and the term used is "collateral damage" civilians in the true sense were and still are killed - Ahh but as the US military say "we don't do civilian death counts" - unless of course we wish to politicise and point at one side in a tragic civil war!

...But, writes the daily, Russia's veto "by many estimates entails certain expectations of Moscow," and lists them as follows: "that Serbia does not join NATO, that it remain consistent in the decision not to impose sanctions, that it allows new Russian investments and, as chairman of the OSCE, assist the Kremlin in resolving the Ukrainian crisis."....

Serbia can not fulfill what Russia is asking for a veto.

I expect Russia and China will abstain and the resolution will go ahead with some changes.

Republika Srpska has nothing in common with the Federation. Serbs were quite happy to live with them initially before Izetbegovic started his independence drive and susequent war against the Serbian population. The time for divorce has come. If Russia's terms are staying out of NATO, not to impose sanctions on it, allow for further investment, and provide diplomatic assistance over Ukraine, then it's certainly a no brainer for Serbia.

For a minute I thought Russia's demands were something new like recognition of Novorossiya or something like that. Maintaining one's security and economic interests over supporting the amending of a ridiculously political resolution is something any Western power would naturally pursue as well.

Then again, this resolution seemed doomed from the start by its wording and clumsy agenda.

Strap your balls on Mr. Vucic and call London and tell them to expect a veto from Moscow.

This is serious business with long lasting effect.

You can't try to finesse everything. Anger is justified and perfectly acceptable.

Get the ball rolling on Bosnia and start talking serious referendum.

Serbs do. ot want to be part of a confederation of this kind.

So sad, too bad

pre 8 godina

Seems like a no-brainer. Why negotiate changes and amendments? Why must Serbia go on a diplomatic offensive and beg for equality? It's clear that the EU is anti Serbian. There is nothing to think about. Stand by RS & Russia and veto this garbage resolution

Ari Gold

Ok great. Try to get the resolution amended so it can also take into account the genocide that took place against 3500 Serbs in Srebrenica, and we'll be good to go. Also, detained terrorist Naser Oric should be extradited for exactly those crimes.

All we hear about is how Serbia is making best friends on its path towards the EU. Let's see if Serbia really has a place here or not. If not, it is imperative Serbia seek Russia's veto at the UN.

NATO bombed Serbia for 78 days and then proceeded to occupy and steal it's territory, but the Russians didn't. Is it really that hard to figure out who is Serbia's friend and who is Serbia's enemy?

If Russia's terms are staying out of NATO, not to impose sanctions on it, allow for further investment, and provide diplomatic assistance over Ukraine, then it's certainly a no brainer for Serbia.

For a minute I thought Russia's demands were something new like recognition of Novorossiya or something like that. Maintaining one's security and economic interests over supporting the amending of a ridiculously political resolution is something any Western power would naturally pursue as well.

Then again, this resolution seemed doomed from the start by its wording and clumsy agenda.

Yes. Russia didn't bomb Serbia...

@ ida

You are right, Serbs didn't kill anyone.

All the victims in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Kosovo killed themselves.

Case closed.
Go sleep with Sesel's and Cubrilovic' books and have sweet dreams!

And just like that!!!.... we're leaning towards Russia and China again. The Brits and EU have no place in Serbia.

You are free to go,
hence where blows the good "wind" for you.
But, this can't help you to escape from 1990 -99.
You are not able to face with your actions, for which you are too proud.

Ah.., i want to remind to you that Serbia not share borders with Russia or China.
