Of course its not, the last example are the state-financed cop-killers in Kumanovo.

Your analysts are of soviet era and therefore out of date. Ofcourse Serbia has no other choice but to cooperate with Albania because you have been isolated and cannot reach Russia or vice versa. You have no choice but to recognise Kosovo, use Albanian ports and be dependant on Albania to an extend. Right now serbia is at a stage of starve or survive. If you want proof look at recent developments. Welcome to our yard.

@Albanian
Your history is so flawed it's hilarious.
You would be a great comedy writer.
I hear the goat herders are now also claiming London, Athens, Paris, Berlin and Rome as Albanian lands and that the current occupants should leave.

OK then, we'll see you marching with Serbs and other allies in Anzac day march. What is that? You, Croatians and Bosnian Muslims can't do that? But you were the good guys in WWII, I can't understand why not.

1. If you are neighbor to a nation that ranks with allies countries in the WWII, and you still do not know this....., i'm sorry, learn it for not remaining ignorant..
2. Check the invitations that Russia has made for the parade, will find even Albanian army.

My dear MikeD, i really don't understand the reason why your "neighbors" "love" you so much, as much as they just wait for "the moment"....
OOO.. poor "angels"...
Just read a little what you have done 1913 before that Albanians give it back to you, just 25 years latter. And SS Skanderbeg. was not effective, because to many Albanians deserted, and for this after 6 months it disintegrated. ( according to German sources ). I'm not trying to justify, i'm try to tell that : what you planted, that you harvest.

Maybe we should be more "well-intentioned" and try to match what Serbia has done to Albanians:
- Stealing our culture and history in Kosova by converting medieval Byzantine Albanian Orthodox and Catholic churches into Serbian churches and assimilating local Albanians and then claim "historical roots" in Kosovo.
- Hiding the truth about the Battle of Kosovo and the Albanian contribution there: even in your most famous painting of that battle "The Kosovo maiden" the hero is lying next to an Albanian flag! What do you think was the ethnic composition of Kosovo in 1389?
- Stealing the medieval history of Albania Veneta (now known as Montenegro) and the ancestry of the Albanian ruling tribes of Old Montenegro: Gjergj Balsha (Djuradj Balsic?), Stefan Kryeziu (Crnojevic?).
- Ethnically cleansing Central Serbia from Albanians throughout the 1800s and early 1900s: As Cubrilovic describes Albanians were living as far north as Jagodina and by the late 1800s even the area of Nish was free of Albanians. You cry about the "loss" of Kosovo in the 1990s, but we should complain about the loss of Dardania up to Jagodina!
- Attempt to ethnically cleanse Kosova of Albanians from the early 1900s to 1990s through long-term state-sponsored expansionism and genocide.
Serbia has been expanding on our expense for centuries, but somehow you still talk about a "Great Albania". Maybe we should change our "bad intentions" and start calling Jagodina the soul of Albania!

Because if I listen to Chetnik-Nazi Serbian commentators in this site such as Ari Gold,Peggy,Ida,Paul,MikeC,Ratko etc they say that Albanians fought hand and hand with Nazis.
According to them only Serbs fought against Nazis, not Albanians.

No Sh-t.
Anyone who has eyes can see that.
It was an arranged meeting.
Vucic should promise a bunch of things, smile a bit, and then go home and unplug the phone.
Serbs don't have much interest in developments in a 3M person economy of only $12B (that's pretending to be more
powerful and influential than it really is).
They want much more from Serbia than Serbia can ever get from them.
Notice how not a single announcement came from the meting.
pre 8 godina
Compare the reaction of the media between the two countries to this visit and you will discover for yourself the difference.
Well Done B92!
pre 8 godina
I agree with the analyst of this article that all these meetings between prime ministers are for show. Both sides need to pretend in front of EU eyes.
Serbian-Albanian conflict is over 200 years old and Kosovo is the key to its solution.
I disagree with the analysts assessment that somehow Albania was the favorite of Great Powers until now. It is a fact that Greater Serbia was reality for 80 years...it was called Yugoslavia. But for Serbs it wasn't enough to be all in one state, they wanted to dominate all others. Now they pay the price for their greed by being treated as Albanians. Albanian nation is split in 5 states, Serbian nation split in 5 states. Why Albanians are the favorites world powers?

Quite the sanguine analysis. Brussels knows this and agrees - in public try to act civilized and in private, try not to go full retard. The EU is all about appearances and fake 'unity' that must be kept at all costs, regardless of the papering over of fundamental differences.
As for clichés - Balkan Insight: Balkan Feuds Re-Surface at Leaders' Tirana Summit

Since then, Greece has said it still wants to implement the agreement while Albania does not acknowledge its existence.
Rama said the request for clarification was “routine diplomatic practice” to which Greek Foreign Ministry spokesperson Konstantinos Koutras answered: “The political leadership of our friendly neighbouring country is lapsing in word and deed, every day. A return to the logic of, and to respect for, legality and international law is the surest path for Albania’s European perspective”.

There is no other option, you are isolated from Russia, in case of a conflict you will suffer like never before.

Bad journalism and even worse analysts. It's just a provocative article to put in bad light the efforts of the two countries to stabilize relationships. If you look at the albanian media you will not find such a negative article, instead, also people that have been for a long time involved perosnally in the serbo - albanian conflict have had if not positive, normal words. There is a part of serbian society (absolutely not the majority) that still eagers for war or conflicts and lives with that hateful feeling that is called "inat". Get a life people and relax, life is much more beautiful than your small, provincial bad feelings.

And SS Skanderbeg. was not effective, because to many Albanians deserted, and for this after 6 months it disintegrated. ( according to German sources ). I'm not trying to justify, i'm try to tell that : what you planted, that you harvest.

You keep using this word "Chetnik". I do not think you know what it means.

@Albanian
Your history is so flawed it's hilarious.
You would be a great comedy writer.
I hear the goat herders are now also claiming London, Athens, Paris, Berlin and Rome as Albanian lands and that the current occupants should leave.
