It is amazing how no one of the people who comment here did not find in their heart a good word to say about this meeting. Obviously it was a huge step forward. It broke the ice. Hopefully the winter is over.
But some of you are really backwards. you don't want friendship. You want to see only wars and hatred. Shame on you people. Shame on you.

You cannot be serious. Albanians immature children?
Lets see... 6 months ago Rama said in Belgrade " Kosovo is independent" which is the truth. Vucic answered " Kosovo is Serbia". Serbs went crazy and considered it a big provocation.
The exact same words were said yesterday in Tirana and nothing happened. Freedom of ideas, freedom of expression. Everyone is entitled to his own opinion.
Who are the immature ones?
Back to the famous football game... 20000 Serb fans were chanting "kill Albanians". They were burning Albanian flags. They run in the pitch and attacked Albanian players.
We flew a banner with a map of "Great Albania" (I am not even sure who flew that banner, but anyhow) and the hell broke lose.
Who are the immature ones?

"If we had seen a Greater Serbia flag, we and our entire people would have laughed and would not have taken it seriously," Rama said, adding that he believes both sides had "learned lessons from this event.

I'm not so sure. I would like to see what happens if someone will try it out.

In the independent dream state of Kosovo, on the other hand, you can get arrested not only for carrying a 'greater Serbia' flag, but for carrying a normal Serbian flag, or a T-Shirt with Cyrillic letters.

It wasn't a provocation. It was simply a reminder that Albanians are immature children who can't stand not displaying fantasies of a Greater Albanian state for more than five minutes because they crave attention.

How mature is Serbian society?! All serbs in stadium that day did not respect Albanian anthem and flag. Is this civilisation?! is this a political message, dear mr. Vuçiç?!

Provokacja, provokacja!! hahaha

So Vucic waited for his visit to Tirana to finally tell us who flew the drone? All this time he's been acting like a drama queen and blaming Rama's brother!?! Sorry to say, but your country is such a joke :)

Rama is immature - as is Albanian society. It/they have never been known as a progressive people or country - instead they are very backwards and have offered the world no innovations or good ideas.

@ PROVOKACJA man.

If Albania is a joke.... than why you get so upset. If what you say is true, than you wouldn't bother even to comment about it. So my dear there are only two options: 1)either you are a liar, or 2) you are dumb. (your choose).

Lol! Your prime has a subtil and good humor:indeed his name is Ismaïl,Ismaïl Qemali, and yes he did came from italia to have the flag deployed each time when needed most, and each tome with spectacular results, and each time with Isa's help!..
Be smart:it was your décision not to allow albanian supporters in your stadium,so your provocation needed a response at the same level,no and you have to admit it :it was a terrific, inventive, humurous manner to respond to your provocation!A splendid artistical, political, and 'sportical'action, indeed! And réactions dall over thé globe were much more tha we expected!...

Actually, I think the implication is that Serbia is a joke or the thoughts of a Greater Serbia anyway.
This is a different world from the 90's following the break up of Yugoslavia.
The EU has assumed control of all of Europe and not just the west. It is not going to allow the break up of states now and forming of new ethnic states within its sphere of control.
There will always be those who dream of a Greater Albania, you cannot stop that. Just like there will always be those who dream of a Greater Serbia (Dodik comes to mind) but neither is going to happen. Both Kosovo and Albania condemned the actions in Macedonia, it only Serbia that attributes it to some political agenda by the govts, and the only reason for that is as Nikolic is doing spreading the seeds of hatred and fear. Vucic the same thing, it is a gimmick to keep everyones mind on these non issues so they do not look at what the govt is actually doing.

When I was in Kosovo, the only people I ever heard speak of a Greater Albania were Serbian, what does that tell you?

boom

pre 8 godina

yes, Rama is absolutely correct, it is a joke and it should have been treated as such by our media.
If it is a political message, then what? There are tens of political parties in Albania and Serbia with all kind of crazy political messages. Democracy allows them to express their views even if they might seem crazy or unacceptable to some parts of society. The important thing here to focus on is that "Greater Albania" is not the project of the mainstream parties and this is what Rama keeps saying. It is like all Albanian media got the impression of Serbia politics by focusing on the radical party of Seselj.

There are no Great Albania or Great Serbia.
Kosovo is for serbs an albanian population province, and for albanians a new state. It is a only what can be seen by each other point of view.
Whatever you want to call Kosovo doesn't matter as long as Albania and Serbia (the citizens) not the ill minded politicians try to find an understanding.

wow the misinformation here , Rama never even mentioned the word joke and neither did Vucic ...Such a shame that there are propagandistic articles like these in today`s serbian medias. Just listen to the conference yourselves people. Vucic said this was political because it had a political message and he said nothing about it being organized from politicians as he has always implied all this time .Rama said that he simply did not understand why serbians were mad at a simple flag and that albanians would laugh if there was a drone with a Greater Serbia flag .

I don`t understand how people get away with making up stuff so easily in Serbia ..

Liar. The whole stadium screaming ”kill the Albanians” from the first minute and Nikolic present in the stadium applauding them is not only a provication but pure racism and a call for violence, which latter actualy happened. But we will turn you the favor in October. Now get together and decide who flew the drone. The brother of Rama ,this guy Ismail or you serbs yourselves?

Denis

So the flag was a provocation, but chanting for 2 hours "Ubi Ubi Siptari" and other hateful phrases, is not a provocation?!Hmmm

The logic of Serbia in this matter is flaw. Soccer fans provoke all the time, in many ways. That is why there are disciplinary measures. Same goes for players who are aggressive. The matter is settled by the referee.

A provocation, doesn't mean that the issue should be settle by allowing hooligans to enter the field and attack the players. This is barbaric.
