Serbian prime minister meets with Albanian counterpart

Vucic received with full state honors in Tirana.
When Rama was in Belgrade, our president refuse to meet him and said that Albania was still 100 years behind civilized world. Even his speech was not broadcast like we were stuck in communist times.
It shows how low our politics of hatred have brought Serbia. Looking where Albania was 30 years ago, it is clear they have made a long way and surpassed us. Time to wake up.

When Vucic visit Albania he was received by Prime Minister,Speaker of the Parliament, The Albanian President and the Chairman of the main opposition party, which happened to be the mayor of Tirana.
This is the Albanian protocol for all foreign prime ministers,presidents and important guests.

When Rama visited Belgrade, Nikolic refused to receive him.

It shows who is causing the problem between our countries.
The Chetnik filo Russian President of Serbia is the problem between our countries.
When he is gone our countries will have better relationships.

sir Vucic in my opinion both two countries need to change the mentality and life living, we dont need any enemy from none we need peace and respect, two nations are very similar common nations we are very proud what we have and you also
I am zmajl sokoli from north Albania and i do love my country and i love visiting Belgrade never been there would be good see one day
Political in balkan been not well at for 35 years and everyone knows why is and what, not need to go futher but is better to work together and have good relationship and be one nation like everywhere in world we need to focus in economy and business thats main thing make sure every tourist are safe should feel like home, no need to talk about great albania never I want and this is enough to talk everyday same thing

I was glad to hear the joint press conference of the two prime ministers in Tirana. What we indeed need is to give voice to the intellectuals the real ones in both our countries to find common paths. As Vucic said we like it or not we have to be neghbours so lets work together in our common interest. By doing so we will learn to know each other and abbandon the stereotypes that we have built of each other. And everybody is invited to avoid the 'yes but you' replies. They are the worse and they provide ground for further divisions. No doubt all of us will only be better if relations are good than lets work in that direction without prejudice.

What makes you sure that was not organised from the Gruevski regime so he could hide the leaking of the tapes from the opposition. Long are gone the times when you Slavs in the Balkan could do dirty work on the name of Albanians. As for Vucic visiting Albania its apsoluetly fine with me as a kosovar Albanian and I'm sure Rama would tell him face to face in what we stand as Albanians in the Balkan just like he did in the middle of Belgrade.

If there is one country in Balkan to be blamed about backstabbing, crimes, stealing land, one can even say Genocide that country is Serbia.

You have more land which does not belong to you Vojvodian, Sanxhak and Preshevo valley. with the help of Russia and other Balkan county's you were able to steal Kosovo and now it belongs to its rightful owners.

How does it feel? The first step toward normal life, i mean. Understanding that "having a better life" doesn`t always come through "neigbours` death". Realizing that trading and exchanging goods, services, ideas, culture etc is much more convenient than exchanging bullets, shells, bombs and death. That counting the profits of export-import is much more convenient than counting each others victims.

Welcome Mr.Vucic! Thank you for your visit and for your civilized attitude. I hope, we all hope, that this step is the beginning of a journey of a thousand miles/years of peace! I really hope that some day President of Serbia will make the same step as you did!

I would say beware of intellectuals. Intellectuals are the ones who got us into trouble in the past. I have in mind people like Cubrilovic.

My hope is that the regular people, common people, have finally decided that another war will only make their lives worse.

It is a good thing that Vucic came to Albania. It is even better that the visit is going without a problem. Perhaps he will learn something. Perhaps when Mr Vucic returns home he will look at the portrait of his predecessor Vladan Gjorgjevic, and whisper to that portrait "I went to Albania, and they do not have tails". Perhaps he will tell his people as well: "Albanians do not have tails"

I'm glad some of the Serbian politicians and media have matured since Rama's last visit in Belgrade. No more childish theaters and stupid nationalist blame games. Looks like the "Albanian effect" has had a positive influence on Serbia.
