PM's meeting with IMF delegation "on verge of incident"

The meeting between Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and a visiting delegation of the IMF was "very difficult," Economy Minister Zeljko Sertic has said.

This is meant to be an agreement not a hostage taking. If the IMF is setting unreasonable and unfair terms then for the sake of the public (those that pay 50% of your wages) do not sign on them.More importantly, which 16 or 17 companies are the IMF seeking to privatise? Will their privatision and thus sale to foreign companies lead to economic improvement (lol) or, given the poor track record of foreign investment e.g. buy'n'close, lead Serbia further down the EU (Zapad; za pad) drain? Economic arm twisting to ensure conscientious agreement with all EU(Bundestag) views seems to be the norm these days.

Is there anything Vucic says/does/allows to be leaked to the press that isn't solely for the glorification of himself?

Let's cut to the end of this story: IMF stipulations see various price rises but brave prince Vucic is in a position to let everyone know just how hard he tried for the people he loves so dearly. Yeah, yeah, move along now. Everyone sees through this nonsense.
