I'm neither bitter nor surprised at the half-assed rationales used to selectively arrest people in Europe's Youngest Democracy. This is just business as usual.
(Balkan Anthropologist, 11 May 2015 00:54)

So this is half-assed because Serbs were caught with guns? What does the law say about carrying guns? If the law says this is illegal then these people should not have been arrested because they were Serbs? Also how do you know this is selective? Do you read about news like this on other media, other than Serb media? Because as far as I can read in Albanian media people are arrested for illegal gun possession all the time. You see Serbs and Kosovo in one sentence and you assume the government there is definitely wrong, because how in the world can Serbs do anything illegal in Kosovo? That's impossible since they are are Serbs.

Where in the article did you see that sentence?

I like how you make up things to only fight with them and "disprove" them. Like Don Quixote and his windmills. Where in the article did you see that sentence?

For once I must say you didn't think before writing. Look at the top of the comments page and read what it says in bold letters.

From Avni: "If they did this to me I'd have gone home get my AK-47 and chase me some Serbs."

Correction Avni. You'd get your AK-47 and go after Serbian women, the elderly and kids under 17 years of age the way your fellow countrymen do. And on the way, you'd stop to vandalize some churches and cemeteries. You're such a brave internet warrior.

Don't be surprised we see a repeat of the nonsense we saw this past Christmas when supposedly a Serb driving around in Pristina was carrying explosives. It was announced "he" would be held for 30 days and then released... for terrorism. Then they just stopped talking about it.

LOL arresting someone in Kosovo for "illegal possession of weapons and for causing general danger" constitutes arresting about 80% of the population, and about 90% of those Albanian political elites elected to office. Just another ordinary day in the Land Beyond Belief.

LOL the only AK-47 you have is the plastic toy your mom got you. Besides, you'd probably point it in the wrong direction and blow your head off.

Any Serb travelling to Kosovo would be crazy not to bring their gun considering the ongoing violence and discrimination being perpetrated against them.

No one was even hurt - the shooting in the air could be celebrations.

Meanwhile, Albanians have recently stabbed Serbs and smacked a girl who was walking home on the road.

That sky center was built and developed by Serbs. Why don't Albanians build one of their own - is there even one in Albania?

njegos

Albanian tourists? Get real! The only thing to see in Kosovo are Serbian historical churches and monasteries - the one the civilized Albanians haven't destroyed yet that is.

The fact that this made headline news in serbian media tells us how barbaric they are.
(Albanian, 8 May 2015 15:56)

No, the fact this made headline news in Serbian media tells us how bassackwards the Kosovo justice system is. Considering gun possession is basically a necessity in Europe's Youngest Democracy, these four Serbs must have been amassing an arsenal of weapons in a relatively stable area of Kosovo for the law to come down that hard on them.

Vucic, do what you do best call international community, and EU officials.

So serbian acts of crime are not supposed to be punished? The fact that this made headline news in serbian media tells us how barbaric they are.
