EU foreign policy chief "treats Kosovo as state"

This is very simple. Serbia can claim Kosovo all it wants, they don't speak for Kosovo, they don't make laws in Kosovo, they don't collect taxes in Kosovo, when people go there they have Kosovo visas, not Serbia. How can Serbia say Kosovo is Serbia when they have ABSOLUTELY no say as to what goes on there or the relations of Kosovo with any other country? I think it's called a pipe-dream.
People of Kosovo do not care if Serbia accepts or not, we do not rely on Serbia for anything. Let Serbia live in the past, that's the only thing that they have going for them. Such a "has been" country.

Historians have proven many times over that the "Southern Slavs" (Jugoslavs) have migrated south from the Russian plains, and that they evicted the locals there pushing them into the mountains, what is now Kosovo. My grandfather used to tell me how his grandfather was kicked out of his house in Prekuplje and had to migrate to Kosovo, we have a lot of family heritage like that. They started their ethnic cleansing centuries ago.

Serbia says that they do not rule out the military to regain Kosovo.

I say bring it.

Serbia can wish anything it wants but it wont change the reality. Kosova is recognized by majority countrys of the world and will in the future be an EU member. And one thing you should know is that Albanians are the native people of the Balkans. You know where serbs came from 700 years ago?! Kosovo and the autoctonous population in Kosovo, Preshevo Valley(Modern State south eastern Serbia), Sangjak(Modern State western Serbia), Nis(Modern State west Serbia), Ulqin and other south eastern territory (Modern State south eastern Monte Negro, Skopje(Shkup)or half of FYROM of Macedonia (Half of Modern State), Janina (west and North west of Greece) is autoctonous Albanian Blood. The eu has put serbia in charge of negotiating for Kosovo Serbs in forming republic of kosovo institutions and Serbs role in them. You can't say serbia is excluded in the formation of the republic of kosovo. Serbs of Serbia are overwhelming recongnizing Kosovo independence. It's over 60% recognition! Serbia needs a formal referendum where Serbs can remove Kosovo from its constituion.

Kosovo has been recognized by 110 countries. 10-15 more it will be 2/3 of UN members. What else can one say?

When you fund and support separatism against your neighbors, don't complain when that separatism comes back to bite you. How many supported separatists in Croatia and Bosnia in the early 90's? How many support separatists in Crimea and east Ukraine today? If you did, you are a hypocrite and part of the problem.

But alas too bad for you, you forget that while the UNSC laid out a map for the establishment of self control, which Kosovo has been following, it has become ineffective in ever making a new decision concerning Kosovo so the mandates then are still in place, and if you look it does not say anywhere that IT has to decide the future of Kosovo, but until revoked by the UNSC there will always be a mandate that should Serbian forces ever enter onto Kosovo soil that NATO has the explicit mandate to protect Kosovo and remove those forces.
The thing is that those who call Kosovo independent are actually doing business and conducting interacting with Kosovo as an independent state and those of you who continue to say Kosovo belongs to you are doing so afar unable to do squat.

A year before when the Serb army passed through Albania, they left destruction in their path, burning homes, raping , pillaging and killing women, children and the elderly, while most of our men were away at war. It was simply self defense on the part of the Albanians, on the return of the Serbs. The Serbs got what they deserved. Payback is a bitch.

It`s not without a reason why they say Balkan still live in 18th century. The only way to solve problems in Balkan is an AXE!

Once upon a time Serbia and Greece were the most powerful states in Balkan. The boundiaries between Balkan states were drawn to satisfy Greek and Serbian appetite.

Why? Because the Superpowers had their interests in strengthening Serbia and Greece.

And now, the same Superpowers have decided that Serbia and Greece`s power must be reduced. Serbia lost Kosovo, Greece is going bankrupt.

So what was the point of all those wars? Thousands of victims, too much blood and a new vicious circle of hate and pain and pain and hate.

All these to fight for wars whose results had been decided long time before they started and too far from the place they took place.

But the balkan people are still proud that "my great-great-grand dad punched your great...grand dad pretty bad" and "if they didn`t take axe off my hands i would cut off your head like a watermelon".

Well, they didn`t lie about traveling back in (medieaval) time(s). They just traveled to the Balkan.

Kosovo has been recognized by 110 countries. 10-15 more it will be 2/3 of UN members. What else can one say?

Frederica Mogherini perhaps would'nt mind if others recognized the separate Kingdoms of Sicily, Napels, Lombardy and Savoy again, not so long ago independent states.

Hey Fidan (Mr. Tough Guy), did your grandfather also tell you about the Albanian Golgotha during WWI? This is when Serbian troops decimated by disease and cold were forced to retreat through the Albanian mountains during WWI after German, Austro-Hungarian and Bulgarian troops invaded Serbia. Your honorable and noble Albanian tribesmen slaughtered thousands of Serbs there. Or did he tell you about the Balli Kombetar who aligned themselves with Hitler's Nazis and massacred Serbs during WWII? My guess is that grand dad left these episodes out of your history lesson.

It is you that needs to be taught a history lesson. A year before when the Serb army passed through Albania, they left destruction in their path, burning homes, raping , pillaging and killing women, children and the elderly, while most of our men were away at war. It was simply self defense on the part of the Albanians, on the return of the Serbs. The Serbs got what they deserved. Payback is a bitch.

Joni - Is that the best you can do? You cite an obscure Marxist / socialist who no one ever heard of and who was as anti-Serb as you are. This guy dedicated his adult life to bringing down the Serbian government.

Please provide a mainstream source that more than two people have heard of. If what you claim is true, providing accurate and reliable sources should be easy. But as usual Joni, your hate-filled unsubstantiated comments are simply the product of a brainwashed little mind.
