Perhaps the EU should fund and support the independence of kurdastan?. It is after all EU policy to support the creation of illegal independent states.

"In some parts of the country and in certain parts of the population that may be popular, but what I'm worried about are the long-term consequences. This sows the seeds of anti-European and anti-Western attitudes which, from today's point of view, makes (Turkey's) membership (in the EU) very difficult," Hahn said.

What about NATO? Maybe we should question Turkey's membership in NATO as well.

But we could equally question NATO's existence itself.

it is a genocide, whether the islamist state of turkey likes it or not

It is a genocide whether Johannes Hahn likes it or not.

Johannes Hahn should move to turkey with his family and enjoy the "democracy" of an islamic state that is financing isis

Good luck Johannes Hahn. You and your islamo-turkish friends have no place in EC.

I suppose the extermination of 6 million Jews by the Germans, Italians, Bulgarians & Croats in World War II was just an oversight for EU consideration.

So we should sweep 1.5 million dead under the carpet to keep Turkey happy?Maybe if Turkey faced up to its crimes that would be the best solution. There is more than enough evidence to legally prove it was genocide, directed by the Turkish government. What a disgusting comment and insult to the dead, survivors and descendants of the state contrived Armenian genocide.
