Yes, what a show of strength! They managed to get a Serbian official who they didn't even want traveling at all to Kosovo-Metohija to come a few days later. Sovereignty!

We know who defacto runs Kosovo-Metohija, and it isn't either Serbs nor Albanians.

Of course IF Kosovo had banned him completely every politician would have boarded a plane with a pocket full of tissues to different destinations to cry about Kosovo not living up to the Brussels agreement.
This was a measured response, it sent a message but did not let Serbs take center stage.
While what you say about who runs Kosovo is mostly true, we know it definitely not Belgrade.

They have shown that it is strictly up to the Pristina government if and when he and other Serb officials can visit, and pretty much debunked his claims of Republic vs provincial authority, as if in reality that relationship actually existed.

Brilliant move by Pristina. By not allowing him to travel on the days he originally wanted but then saying YES to the following Monday and Tuesday they not only averted any real international discussion or interference, but established the boundaries.
