Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic today "spoke briefly and shook hands" with Kosovo Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci, ahead of a conference in Slovenia.
I would say that they chat and snake hands. Seems that the State Dept. follows it strictly so that the tense on the Balkans is never lowered. So all sides make controversial and unrealistic demands and statements or deliberate provocative steps. If peace comes here many of the politicians will have to retire and lose their incomes. And it explains them for 100%. Today the West demonizes Serbia but if Serbs yield be sure they will find another Evil to be united against. Best candidates are the Albanians and the Bosniaks because they are more different. Then the Montenegrin’s turn will come and we’ll be told about their clans and corruption. Developments in Ukraine may also make this country become evil of the century. National elites always need external enemies and when the lack them they just create them. For the time being there’s no such problem on the Balkans and Europe. Because Serbia and Russia successfully execute the roles. But things change and so they may need new Satans or Demons soon.

Why they won't schedule the Kosovo independence recognition referendum is a mystery. Serbia knows and recognizes Kosovo independence. Serbs are teianed to be border guards and customs agents on Kosovo border. Their sports teams like in handball play kosovo. The idea that Serbs don't know Kosovo is independent is ridiculous and bigoted. Post Brussels Serbs and Serbia are now the main promoters of Kosovo independence.

However, when they give interviews to their local media, they are totally different. That is what politics is called. Vucic, Dacic and every other politician who is at least a little smart knows that Kosovo is independent and will be recognized by Serbia soon. They just need to find the way to tell that to their own people. They keep saying Kosovo is Serbia just because they need to earn some political points. They attend same meetings, they shake hands over and over again, they need to get special "visas" to visit Kosovo etc.
And let me tell you all something: THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING Serbian left in KOSOVO if there ever was. Only the Serbian minority speaks the language and the Orthodox monasteries of course. That is ALL. We are rising surely and there is no way back. It's been 16 years now and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING left.
The sooner the people will be told the truth the better.
Anyway, as always, I just hope for peace between us. At the end, we are all human beings and deserve to love and be loved. That's the special thing GOD has given to us.
