"Spilled coffee" forced president's plane to turn back

I'm glad it was only coffee and not slivovica!

If you study computer science or sound engineering etc, one of the things you are taught is not to put liquids such as a cup of coffee anywhere near the equipment.
If you have not been taught this, it is probably because the professor thinks this is so obvious that a child would realize this.

We all make mistakes and if the piece of equipment is your personal laptop, you can do what you like, but to hold a cup of coffee over the control panel of a 500,000EURO airplane while airborne with passengers takes a special kind of stupid.

What does Nikolic keep tripping over to the Vatican for anyway? Isn't this his second or third trip?

Thanks to the pilot for this little intervention. Next time a Serbian official wants to consult with the Vatican, they can take a bus.

Word is that he spilled the coffee because he couldn't see the coffee holder from all the cigarette smoke in the cabin.

Seriously now, this is, I assume one of the best pilots, since he is in charge of the president.

Ida it is worse then I thought if that is possible. My theory is the engine went first then the plane went in to a dive that caused the pilots coffee to spill. They just dont want to admit how bad it has gotten in Serbia. Like the helicopter crash blaming the pilot of drinking instead the equipment is not maintained http://inserbia.info/today/2014/06/serbia-soon-without-air-force/ only a death trap a accident waiting to happen . It was just pure luck the falcon craft had three engines when one went out.

I wonder what "Lenard" is going to say now. He went on a big rant about "Serbian mechanics" when it was a freak coffee spill on the instrumental board.
The pilot is a hero for managing to retake control of the plane after the plunge. The co-pilot should be fired.
