Serbs experienced nothing short of a Holocaust during WWII. What made the Jasenovac Camp different from some of the other Nazi death camps was that the Croat Ustashe behaved in such a sadistic and animal like way towards its prisoners that it even disturbed the German units.

Serbia's government and diaspora don't do a very good job remembering Jasenovac. Most Serbs have no idea that such a genocide even occurred. Jasenovac was largely ignored by Tito's Yugoslavia and Croatia was off the hook for their barbarity and savagery. It's amazing to me that this gets no press at all. Whenever the Serbenica 'genocide' anniversary comes up, it makes headlines on the internet, newspapers, and news. 8,000 deaths, tragedy, 'genocide', and all sorts of stories on it. However, Jasenovac has not made any news outlet one time...not one time on the anniversary of it. We're talking 700,000+ people. Nobody cares since it seems that Serbian lives are of no consequence. Just like the 3,000 Serbs who were murdered around Serbenica before the Serb attack there.

This is not to diminish any one tragedy over the other. For Bosniaks Serbenica was a grave crime and a painful event in their history, and they mark that anniversary as such. I personally am ashamed that Serbs there chose that action. What irks me though is not that they get international coverage for Serbenica, it's that things like Jasenovac, Oluja cleansing 250,000 Serbs, or the recent events in Vukovar of breaking all the cyrillic signs get no coverage. Those Bosniaks were slaughtering Serbs all over BiH from the get-go.
