The word "Truth" does not mean the same thing to Americans as it does to other nations. To the wider world, "Truth" means "What is." Things are the way they are and that won't change regardless of what we think about them. For Americans, "Truth" means "What we want." For Americans, "Truth" always represents their whims and fancies. "Truth" is anything they want it to be at any one time; they can also change their views 180 degrees and it still remains the "Truth."

This American view of the "Truth" doesn't make sense the rest of the world and millions of people have turned away from CNN, SKY TV and the BBC (the BBC is effectively an American news outlet based in Britain). Russia Today (RT) gives a wide range of opinions including those from Russia and others who are opposed to the NATO-West. RT tries to describe the world "as it is" and not as the Russians would want it. This makes RT quite different from the American channels.

The NATO-West spend 100 times more on its news propaganda than the Russians and yet they are still losing the information war. This will not change even if they spend 1000 times more.

Why keep quoting Chomsky

Chomsky is recognised as an intellectual worldwide and credited with a number of best-selling books whereas you're recognised as a boring troll by the better posters on the site.Get yourself something else to do.YOU ARE BORING!

Peter Pomerantsev's book Nothing is True and Everything is Possible is excellent. He lived in Moscow for years and worked in TV there filming reality TV shows. The book is an insight into life in modern Russia, from the media, gangsters and strange cults to business and corrupt bureaucrats. Highly recommended.
