If this is true it can only be that Belgrade has bent over so often to so many different parties it is no longer enjoyable for the US. I heard that Serbia was going to make the kilt the official dress code of govt officials meeting foreign diplomats in order to save time and make themselves more readily available.

The US ambassador to Pristina said Washington wouldn’t continue blocking Russia’s attempts to set up a Kosovo war crimes tribunal if Kosovo’s parliament doesn’t approve a new EU-backed court soon.

@Albanian,

The best part about your comments is that you actually believe what you write. There's a difference between trolling in anger and being so naive you actually believe the propaganda you've been fed. Congratulations. You win the Internet Comment Award for today. I'd offer it to you, but you'd have to pull your head out of your hind quarters to receive it.

No one is re-writing history or diminishing crimes committed against Albanians. Get out of your clan mentality. Your hatred blinds you and does nothing to integrate and move Kosova forward.

Individuals, who wanted a monopoly on power, committed crimes for the sole purpose of gaining this power and increasing their personal wealth. They even killed their own to silence them.

There is no justification in killing the innocent and the infirmed whether they be Albanian, Serb, or Roma for personal gain.

I am no less Albanian because I believe these individuals must bear responsibility for their crimes.

Having Albanians, who excuse any crimes Albanians commit against non-Albanians, as well as Albanians of a different political sway, doing the judging, will just whitewash everything and make it seem as if Kosovo did its duty for the KLA's crimes.
The "international community" sponsored and covered up most all the crimes by its proxies in the Balkans - the Muslims and Croats/Catholics.

It never ceases to amaze me that the very same people who are so very critical of the ICTY which was mandated by the UNSC or rather a UN court and say it is biased and corrupt are the very same people who claim that only a UN court could be expected to be fair and impartial in Kosovo.
You can forget a UN court ever, as there will be nothing on Kosovo that comes out of the UNSC for a very very long time unless Serbia recognizes Kosovo and it removes Russia and China reason to allow membership.
You see the veto works 2 ways, and it was allowed to put the main responsibility for anything in Kosovo on the EU, so the US, France, and UK are not going to allow anything to pass that brings it back to the UNSC arena. While you have the potential Russian veto for anything the west proposes for Kosovo, you have the definite veto from one or all three on anything that Russia (Serbia) proposes for Kosovo. So for years to come there will be a UNSG report on Kosovo 4 maybe down to 2 times a year and there will be comments on the report and everyone will go home.

But if you Serbs really want to shelve the whole matter until the day when the UNSC can come to agreement on anything on Kosovo, I am sure you can get the cooperation from Pristina, just make the proposal. Hey maybe your grandkids can witness the trials long after you are gone, but then again what trials as all participants in the actions of the 90's will be long gone!

(Comm. Parrisson, 15 April 2015 16:20)
And what percentage of a chance do you think there would be a court set up by the UNSC. Everyone already agreed that the EU should be the arena that tackles this issue. Do you really think it is feasible that even Russia or China would back track and say no we don't want the EU to handle this but the UNSC??? Do you think that such a proposal even if it was made would not be vetoed by at least 1 of the other 3.
The closest you could come would be an extension of the ICTY with the instruction to focus on war crimes in Kosovo. Which would be for both sides not only Albanian but also Serbian. Which I agree with, for the real story has just come to light since the Hague discontinued new investigations. How many mass graves in Serbia have been uncovered that no one is facing justice for, because they have been blocked from investigation for years by the Serbian govt.
But I agree with the investigation as long as it is NOT just focused on one side. Not only would it be nice to see any crimes possibly committed by Kosovo leaders and get them out of the way for the future but also to rid the Serbian govt of those also responsible for such crimes as concealing these graves and any actions they committed.

This court will target only bloodthirsty terrorists and no "freedom fighters", starting with Mr. Snake himself. This is a special court for crimes vs serbs and other minorities so disappointing for you no serbs whatsoever will be targeted.

-- Daniel you're so naive. Stereotypical Serb ultranationalist. Once the mechanisms are in place and the court has convicted a few people all it takes is an amendment to push the end date. No need for a super majority either as no new court is being created. Be careful what you ask for cause you might just get it. NATO and EU are cleaning the house. It doesn't matter whether you're an Albanian or Serb. If you killed a civilian you will be a target of this court eventually. As a matter of fact since you fought in Kosova and your IP address is quite easy to find, I'd suggest you to be very careful if your unit or you engaged in any activity where civilians lost their lives. You may become a person of interest soon. I'm sure there's Albanians here already saving some of your comments since you openly admitted to fighting in Kosova. Its not too far fetched for them to become court materials in the near future.

First of all we know damn well you have no Albanian blood in your blood vessels.
Secondly, wait and see how this court will operate, and who they will be going after.

KLA had no choice but to fight back with their limited capacity war equipments and training. You cannot go after someone who tried to defend kids and elderly from getting tortured and burned alive. You cannot prosecute freedom fighters that tried to prevent Serbs from raping their sisters, daughters in front of their families. What kinda savages are you Serbs to think for a second you have any weight in this matter?
2,000 people are still missing to this day, personal property robbed from homes and jewelry off of Albanian women was cut off with their fingers and hands. List goes on and on, now we all have these facts, shared with everyone these horrific tortures. Do you think you Serbs actually have a case?

America tells Pristina to bend over, and Pristina complies. Patience is wearing thin with Pristina & Tirana from the US & Brussels:

US Warns Kosovo: Approve New War Court Quickly

The US ambassador to Pristina said Washington wouldn’t continue blocking Russia’s attempts to set up a Kosovo war crimes tribunal if Kosovo’s parliament doesn’t approve a new EU-backed court soon.

If this is true it can only be that Belgrade has bent over so often to so many different parties it is no longer enjoyable for the US. I heard that Serbia was going to make the kilt the official dress code of govt officials meeting foreign diplomats in order to save time and make themselves more readily available.
