1. This I agree but few years ago there still was a hope that Russia could coexist with the US and besides Israel blackmailed the whole world with a preventive strike. So S-300 could bring to a big war. This threat remains but it’s not very big.
2. S-400 is not sold for export for many reasons. One is that with a small modernization it can cover more than 500 km coming under the restricted medium range missiles. Second S-400 is a universal rocket that under some conditions may also be used as a surface -to-surface missile as well. Maybe later when S-500 is introduced enough to the Russian army they will sell S-400 but not now.
PS It’s a big question if Russia really means to supply them with S-300 because it may also be a kind of a support/pressure for the Iranians in their negotiations with THE SIX.

Not sad my dear pessimist and I can explain why. BAVAR is the Persian for TRUST but the thing is that they trust Russian missiles much more and I can explain why. The thing is that the Russian anti-air missiles have always been the best. This is why the US can sale their Patriots only to their closest allies who cannot refuse. Besides S-300 is permanently modernized. We had problems with Iran after we freeze the S-300 contract. Later Russia offered new Antei-2500 missiles but Iran insisted on the old contract. But now that the west behaves as a bastard Russia feels no moral obligations in all spheres. The biggest problem is Israel that may strike before the systems are deployed and the personnel trained. But it could happen even if the contract had not been frozen. Yet Israel feels betrayed by the US and so they are dangerous. Their specifics are that they cannot afford to lose a single war because in this case the Zionist state will stop to exist. What I agree is that the developments in the region are so sad.
