"Holy Fire" taken to monasteries in Kosovo

Hopefully the Holy Fire will not be followed up by albanian savages burning down monasteries!!

No need for this flame to cross into Croatia.

Take this, do that when it comes to Kosovo. Before you do anything...., you need to ask Pristina. Stop thinking that Kosovo is somewhat owned by Serbs. Never again!

The oldest institutions in Kosovo-Metohija are the Serbian Christian Monasteries. Kosovo-Metohija is steeped in Christian heritage so this is very fitting. I've asked the Albanians to show me one building, one artifact, memorial, statue w/e that is older than the Holy Monasteries, and they can't.

Thank God they are still standing. Without them, you wouldn't know how Holy Kosovo-Metohija really is. Since mass Albanian migration to Kosovo-Metohija during fascism and communism, they've turned a Holy place into such a hell hole. How sad.

„The Holy Fire was transferred to Serbia with the blessing of Serbian, Russian and Jerusalem patriarchs, and with the help of the Russian Church and Russian foundations.“

Why not say directly that the Holy Fire was delivered to Serbia by the Russian Andrew the Apostle Foundation aboard a Russian plane ?

Sounds like a load of rubbish.

The real miracles consist of things like boxes of matches, lighters, etc..

You can use a magnifying glass and focus sunlight to a point - that will set fire to something and Is quite fun to do.

Of course there is the ultimate miracle for creating fire - rubbing two sticks together.

None of these involve wearing silly clothes or spouting mumbo-jumbo.

Last week two men talked in a Moscow café. They both ate little because of the Orthodox Fast and it came that among other things they talked a bit about Bethlehem. One of them proudly said that he had built a chapel in front of the famous church so that during the Easter those who do not enjoy being inside could pray in his chapel. The other man was stupid enough to say that he can prove that no Bible events had ever occurred in Israel and that even the city of Jerusalem had been established in the 18 century after Christ. This is why he said even in Wikipedia they have zero information about the period of 1500 - 1917. But strange as it is they can tell you what had happened there 1000 or 2000 or 3000 years ago. This stupid man was me and on my way home I thought what an idiot one must be to explain someone that he had built a chapel in vain. Because no matter where you do a good thing it remains as such. Now you remind me my own stupid behavior. Didn’t you find a better time and place for your idiotic conclusions ?

Did those monasteries was created in the ruin of some beautiful Albanian Christian Churchs, please? The answer is YES...
I absolutly don't agree with "ALL" them who destroy the "sacred places" but i just ask:
Why Serbs destroyed the old Christian Churces and build in the ruins of them the new Orthodox Churces, and don't call themselves "SAVAGES"...
And please don't accuse Albanians about migrating, the only migration in the history of Balkans is just the yours, and just "God" know how many Albanians you have you killed for all the today "Serbia land"..
This really is so sad...

I'm sorry but is not me who insist, are the facts...
Mostly of the monasteries are built on the ruin of the Albanian Christian Churches of the III-IV-VI centuries, before the slavs invasion, and nobody can't delete the history.
And this is "all" the Serbs problem : Doing "wrong action" and "always deny", or "blame" someone else..
We don't choose our neighbors, but the life is always like this... No??
I always thought that we in Albania being for more than 40 years in communism were more "rigid" than Serbs, but i was wrong...
You guys always do a step forward and two steps back..., you don't see how many vital problems the serbian people have.. No way..., because you are to busy being taken with Albanian problems...
Do you know how many news i have read about Serbia this week in the Albanian media?? None!!!!!!!!!!!! While you live with Albanians problems... Good for you!
The "Great Albania" was once upon a time, and nobody can't deny it because is a fact. But : WAS ONCE UPON A TIME!
And you will find always a "Seselj" in Albania too, but what it mean please? Nobody of them was never supported..

The 13th century is when most of the monasteries were built. I understand why you resort to saying those churches were "built on" Albanian ruins, but the truth is you just don't have anything of your own in Kosovo-Metohija, other than the houses you stole during fascism & communism.

That's why the "greater albania" drone map is in your national museum (apparently, those aren't my words). It's hard to fill up a museum with Illyria myths.
