I have some hope for this project. It has not been properly described to the public. The initial 3 billion euros will pay only for the tower and a shopping centre. The full project, which is dozens of buildings will cost tens ob billions and probably 20 years to complete. Over the next 20 years a whole range of buildings can be agreed and built, these should include schools, healthcare, parks and entertainment. Obviously I don't know how it will all look when itis finally completed, but I am sure it won't be that mass of tower blocks shown on their marketing documents.

This cancerous architecture, implemented by force in the beautiful face of Belgrade, makes people and citizens feel helpless and humiliated. And that’s exactly what the regime wants. A big scale rape.

They don't need more living space there are thousands of empty apartments all over Belgrade. All this will do is destroy the character of a beautiful city. If it ain't broken ,don't fix it!! Restoration and refurbishment of existing buildings and infrastructure would be a far better way of investing this money. The beauty of cities like Belgrade is in the chaos and disorder that makes it the place it is. Once this ""destruction" has taken place the clock cannot be turned back. Abandon this lunacy!!

sounds like there was enough kickback money to spread around, in order to secure another theft by the corrupt. you would think that something like this would have actually been put to vote by the citizenry, who will be affected.
