"Russia to allow Greece to bypass food import ban"

I'm not understanding this pipeline thing. Why is Putin building a new pipeline to Greece and Turkey, both NATO members, attempting to bypass Ukraine, which is not NATO. Putin always says that NATO is hellbent on Russia's destruction, so why is Russia allowing these NATO states to possibly control the pipeline into southern Europe? Could it be that NATO is not really a threat to Russia (they have nukes) and that Putin is just using NATO to keep the Russian people fearful and controlled. Nah, couldn't be that.

Meanwhile, the blind are leading the blind as far as Russia and Greece are concerned. Russia is almost as poor as Greece, but in few years Russia will be asking Greece for a loan. And, Serbia is aligned with both of them. It's difficult to determine which of the three losers is stupidest.

as strange as it is that russia wants to built a pipeline through turkey and greece, both notable nato members, one an eu member and the other a wannabe-will-never-be eu member. what's also strange is the qatar turkey line that was proposed by saudi and us. this pipeline was planned to go through syria. now, why would both the saudi's and the american's want to run a pipeline through syria, a nation which in their eyes is a sponsor and source of terrorism. aren't they actually at war with "terrorism", where as russia and nato's cold warm never actually went away, just warmed a bit, but has since gone cold again.
and i must wonder the ability to protect european-esque nato allies from rouge states like iran and syria by placing them in poland. if iran or syria targetted nato's turkey or greece, would the polish based interceptor be able to save anyone? but it is true russia is barking up a storm about nato missiles on their doorstep. its not at all like america's reaction to the cuban missile crisis. in the states it was a crisis, in russia its propaganda.
