When will we rue Serbs have a government that finally takes care of our countries' issues and stops this politically charged behavior. I don't care about Russia. I care about Serbia. Of course the EU is going to react...Serbia is desperately trying to become a member. If this is the goal then why do we stand with a crazy leader like Putin? because he is our slavic brother? that's the primitive balkan view of the past. Can we finally move on an mend our ties with our neighbors? build instead of antagonize? I hope for the day when my government will think and act with brains, width strategic moves that are good for the citizens, instead of with their balls.

The EU is a farce and going broke quick smart. When Greece pulls the pin the rest will follow.
(royals, 8 April 2015 23:53)

Royals,
How can Greece "pull the pin" when they just received a life saving payment from the EU then genuflected deeply and retreated to their rathole, backing out the EU offices with head lowered. Also, an exit from the EU by Greece would not even make the back page of European newspapers because Greece is insignificant. Greece accounts for only 6% of the EU.

If Serbia was a serious country and if her leadership is to be taken serious then they need to grow some b@lls and tell Russia and the West to stop slapping them around.

It seems that every time a report comes out that questions the authority of the Serb officials in front of their citizens, they tend to downplay the severity of the situation to spare themselves the embarrassment.

Maybe that kind of spin works in Serbia. You can't play both sides. It seems that both Russia and the West want you to pick a side.

Is the Nazi Germany the WEST ?

I Quote -

According to him, Kukan's statement is "explicit" and "shows that Serbia has found itself in the focus of the confrontation between Russia and the West."

And -

On Tuesday, Lazic commented on the decision to send Serbian soldiers to the Moscow military parade that will mark the 70th anniversary of victory over fascism

"Serbia received clear warning from EU"
That was not official warning. However, coming from any EU official it should be interpreted by Serbian Government as credible. Now why should Serbia accept Russia's invitation to join victory parade in Moscow?Because Serbia as credible participant in defeat of Nazi Germany should join blood relatives- Russian soldiers in Moscow parade this year.World War 2 was won at STALINGRAD by shear courage and determinations of Russian soldiers.USA led invasion of France in June,1944 termed by Western officials "The biggest invasion World is ever witnessed" with 150,000 soldiers,20,000 airplanes and 5,000.ships very impressive indeed.Who was a at another end they fought? It was a remnants of defeated German army.Europe is different today but relationship with Russia is heading in wrong direction. It worry me that Western Europe chose tis path.

Serbia should not contribute.
These are awkward times and peoples (governments) concerns can be understood, however, Serbia should ponder the real reason for the invitation.
I recognise Serbians leaning towards Russia, but I believe it's one way.
Russia to Serbia is like the US to the UK and EU, when it suits and predominantly one way.
Old Europe is tolerated by these two countries.
Having said that, the decision by Western leaders to boycott the 70th anniversary is also a mistake IMO. The crisis in the Ukraine should not be used as an excuse, the US as been poking the bear with a stick ever since the Wall came down, Russia as said on many occasions that it will not tolerate NATO expansion to its borders. The arrogance of the west is deplorable.
The EU should be looking to build long term healthy relationship with Russia, this can be beneficial to both instead of sucking up to the US and sacrificing our independence thru the TTIP.
I end by repeating Serbia should decline the invitation to avoid embarrassing herself.

It is difficult to fathom why a government would jeopardize joining the largest market in the world and the most civilized group of nations on Earth in order to suck up to a poor undemocratic kleptocracy that has the likes of North Korea and Syria as allies, is further declining, and has done so little for Serbia.

As usual Serbian nationalist are screaming..
But on the contrary to an external observer like i am it's incredible just the opposite !
I have never seen before a country that each day in the words of his top officials say a thing (EU integration and Membership ) and always keep doing the contrary of what are the red lines of this association (EU)..
It is very strange that the EU voice is so ..low profile..
Probably EU officials are sure that at the right moment Serbia will put the knife in the back of Russia and for the moment they bear this strange behaviour..

This is modern day colonialism. Serbia is a sovereign, UN recognized country that has the right to send its military to march in any parade that it sees fit. I realize it comes at an awkward time when the EU is supporting a Nazi junta in Kiev, for vassal Serbia to be marching in a victory over fascism parade in Moscow, but it's none of the EU's business.

Instead of these demented scumbags showing remorse over aggression on Serbia 16 years ago, they continue to condition and threaten Serbia for daring to be an independent country. In this sense, I genuinely feel bad for Vucic who is no doubt in a difficult spot.

But if I was him, I'd find the strength and courage to tell the EU, FU. No doubt this wont bother the EUrofanatic Serbs, because they are just that, fanatical. It doesn't matter what the EU actually says or does to Serbia, the EU is more important than oxygen.

Warnings, Warnings, Warnings! Serbia is not permitted to do any thing is it, not even permitted to breath! Liberty and Peace will come to Serbia from the USA, England, Germany, Vatican, Satan? Why is Satan so determined to stand between two sacred Eastern Orthodox Slavic Brothers? Stay strong Serbia and God Bless Russia and Serbia!!!
