U.S. ambassador says Serbs are "a bit schizophrenic"

Basically what he did was Serbs are torn apart by east and west. They can't make up their decision since money has been flowing from the west to fill in their financial gaps, while Russians have been backing Serbs with kind and patriotic words. What he really meant was grow some f******* balls and make up your damn mind. I know serbs are thinking there we go again west just demonstrated another infamous "PROVOKACJA" LOL

Sveti Sava, the founder of our Church says that Serbia is to the east and to the west. It's in our identity to be both. And that is not more relevant than today. The funny thing is, if America did the right thing and helped Draza Mihajlovic in WWII and not launched an aggression in the 90s, Serbia would be even MORE "schizophrenic" than it is today.

Kirby can call it schizophrenic, but I call it neutrality and independence. And that's what Serbia should continue striving for. Not to be a province of the EU, but to be free.

All the Americans offer is the threat of sanctions and bombs. Russia offers Serbia the chance to join them and build a new trading a cultural bloc in the Eurasian Union. There will be no "free lunch" in the Eurasian Union just as there is nothing free in the western EU, but at least with the Russians, Serbia will be treated as a valued partner and not merely as a Slavic underclass.

If Serbs decide with their heads, then the decision must be to join Russia. If they decide with their hearts and souls, then it is always Russia that will prevail. If, however, they allow greedy, corrupt, DOS politicians to decide their futures, then they will be thrown into the prison we call the EU.

Michael Kirby insulting the people of the country you reside in is a deplorable action. Serbia will be better of with the Russians than the EU. No need to look further than Greece. And of course the US wants them in EU so Serbia will have to concede on Kosovo. well i hope they align with Russia and with the might of Russia behind them reclaim their land and send the shyptars back to their country.

Serbs should really listen to this man... His country turned on Serbs twice now and bombed it... If you want Serbia to turn towords the West, then say sorry for killing Serbs and help them rebuild.

In my country any US Ambassador would immediately the get non grata status should he open his mouth that wide. But in Europe they do what they like. Last week the US Ambassador to Slovakia gave advice to the local President not to go to Moscow on May 9. In Ukraine J. Pfayett openly rules the government. More and more US ambassadors behave like Gauleiters on the occupied territories. In details they will explain to the stupid aborigines what is good for them and what is not. So sad. Strange as it is but many people to defend the US here believe that the US is their ally and friend. How naive they are. Look what they do to their strategic allies like Saudittes , Israelites and the Turks. Will they move a finger for the Albanians or Bosniaks or Croats after they use them ? No they won’t because any sex is valued very different before and after.

If you took offense to what he said, that is your problem, is anything he said NOT TRUE? You may have interpreted his use of the word schizophrenic as an insult but can you name a better word? He did not imply that Serbs were schizophrenic as Vucic explained. He simply said they were torn in which way for the future. Of course he thinks that the best option is for Serbia to choose an European path, but then again how many times have Russian officials said they support Serbia on its goal to join the EU? EU and NATO are not synonymous.
As far as your wishes they are like the dreams of billions who hope to win the lottery, sure there is a chance but the odds are one in millions that it will happen.

The truth is that Serbia is in "DEBT" with Russia.
Russia has supported Serbia and as i know the same have done also the EU states in the I-st and II -nd war.
