Yes, to be more exact, this massacre was the biggest war crime in Europe after WW2

The brutality of the Serbs at Srebrenica was un-imaginable to a normal human. How is it possible to execute 14 year old boys in the back from point blank. How is this possible !

Wicked criminality was normal under Milosevic - mafia out of control in Belgrade, inflation as a way of stealing money from ordinary Serbs, corruption of the building codes, banks accounts raided, etc.. It was bad enough in Belgrade, but criminality was totally uncontrolled in Bosnia.

What happened in Srebrenica was the worst of many acts which dragged down the good name of Serbia.

I stand up for the good name of Serbia - but that good name depends on total rejection of all the criminality that was let loose in that era.

If Serbia wants a good name, it has to be seen to be rejecting nationalist selfishness and criminality, and instead acting with decency, collaborating for the benefit of all.

But a *total* rejection would also include rejecting those who murdered Serbian civilians of the Bosnian Jihad. In the Srebrenica region alone, over 3000 Serbs were butchered by Naser Oric's militia. It's that part of Srebrenica's history that no one is allowed to talk about.

Here is what happened in Srebrenica. Moslem soldiers (10-20 thousand) marched out of Srebrenica with their guns. They attacked Serbs who were surrounding Srebrenica. Most of the Moslem soldiers succeeded in breaking through Serb lines and reached safety in Tuzla and elsewhere. The Bosnian Serb Army lost about 600 men in this breakout. The Serbs were dug in and well prepared and still they lost 600 men. How many Moslem soldiers were killed in this battle? No one knows because no one asks this question. From what I have read, the Moslems must have lost 2-3 thousand killed in this battle. These men were not murdered, they were killed in battle.

Back in Srebrenica and nearby Potocari, the Moslem army left their women, children, sick and elderly with the Dutch. We see these people being greeted by Gen Mladic as he enters the town. All these people, except for a group of healthy Moslem men were immediately sent to Sarajevo and arrived unharmed. The group of healthy Moslems, whose numbers were in the dozens, were later swapped for Serbs held by the Sarajevo Moslem regime. There were no massacres in Srebrenica or Potocari.

Some of the Moslem soldiers who tried to breakout surrendered and were taken to Pilic farm. There were probably hundreds in this group. These men may have been murdered. Since this murder was committed by the 10th Sabotage Unit, a mercenary force of Croats, Moslems and Slovenes in the pay of NATO, we should not expect any justice for their victims.

There were more deaths at the Jasenovac concentration camp than during the entire Bosnian Civil War. Nobody reaches the heights of barbarity quite like the Nazi Ustashe.

And the Western world doesn't reject Serbia any more than it rejects Croatia. Only difference is Croatia has a history of acting as vassals for larger empires.

I see you still have people peddling the "3000 killed in surrounding villages" nonsense. Serb republic army's own statistics puts the numbers at a few hundred. 3000 is all Serbian deaths, including military, in Eastern Bosnia.

It's not "others", its from the SAME conflict. You can't talk about morality if you only care about victims based on what ethnicity they are. You don't recognize crimes against Serbian civilians to be crimes. I care about all the victims, if we are going to talk about Srebrenica, we can't avoid the thousands of Serb civilians who were slaughtered by Bosnian Muslims. You don't think that's worth discussing because you operate out of a space of hatred.

As a proud serb yet I am ashamed what Milosevic and Company did in the name of Serbia. Srebrenica, Vukovar, Sarajevo, etc. all that destruction was not necessary and the Serbians who try to justify it today are doing themselves and our proud nation a huge disservice. It is very easy to label everything "conspiracy from the west" to try to justify what happened. but it is like burying your head in the sand...it is not a sustainable approach. Serbia is not a country of blood thirsty savages, yet comments that support Milosevic's violent actions make use look like that. Open your eyes brothers and lets march together towards prosperity and in peace with our neighbors.

I never said that others are 'sinless', just that each 'sinner' is responsible for his/her own sins.

The point is that there are NO EXCUSES for misbehaviour.

Serbia's good reputation (if it is to have one) must not depend on comparison with other wrong doers.
